John Amato Hyndai in Menomonee Falls service is TERRIBLE! I paid over $1200 to have the air fix in my car - they kept my car for the entire month - my car still has no cold air and they refuse to resolve the issue! Seeking legal action!!!

I have been going to Hyundai dealers for years because I only trust Brian Butler in service dept to work on my car so when he moved to the new John Amato I followed.Recently I needed to purchase a new vehicle and so it was my first choice to start looking.I worked with Joe Zenzola and he was wonderful.Extremely helpful and accommodating, that man worked hard to get me a new car!Nothing but good things to say from start to finish.

Came in for my first complimentary service last week, service tech was awesome and quick answering questions and they even washed my car for free. Ade who I bought my Santa Cruz from was knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with.

I am fundamentally against leaving negative online feedback. This is posted as I think it may benefit other shoppers. I am currently searching for Ioniq 5 to purchase or lease. The amato 'Express Store' website is configured to purchase similar to Tesla with an online purchasing experience. The express store advertises 'upfront pricing'. I identified an Iongiq 5 with hefty MSRP price reduction and accepted the offer through the express portal. The portal requires you to upload personal information for purchase, which I did. After hearing nothing from the dealership after accepting the express offer, I call the dealership and they state they will investigate with manager. Receive a call back from a sales rep that the express portal is displaying an erroneous price (technical error) and they ask me if I would like to review the deal with real pricing. Now after four business days the price is unchanged on the Express portal. While they is may be continued technical error, it feels like bait and switch tactic. I leave this review to advise you not to upload personal information to the Express store without careful consideration.

If you are looking for an honest dealer ship and sales staff, you found it.From the minute, I walked into the dealership until I walked out the next day with my new vehicle. I was impressed. Our salesman Gary listened to what I wanted. No pressure to upgrade over and above what I wanted my payment to be. I’m very happy with my 2024 Tucson. It has everything that I wanted and a few extras that come with an excellent Hyundai product.Each person I dealt with at Amato, treated me with respect, did not talk down to me, and never applied any high-pressure sales tactics.I cannot speak highly enough of each employee how professional they were how patient answering my many questions. This is a quality of service that is almost nonexistent in today’s worldThe show room was clean and beautifully done. The staff certainly takes pride in their work and their surroundings; that is reflected in how they treat people that walk through the door.Run don’t walk. Visit Amato Hyundai and drive your dream car home.

I was very surprised when I had to pay $98 for an oil change! I was told that was because it was full synthetic oil. (My estimate was $30) I have had synthetic before and never paid nearly $100 before. Now you can go 6000 miles before the next oil change tho I was told. Well my plug in hybrid car tells me I need to change the oil every 7500 miles so that is more. So I feel ripped off. I also had to ask for the inspection report, where everything was labeled "Ok" What happened to noting brake pad lining thickness and tire thread depth? Did they really inspect. No new sticker for oil changes..... Just wondering if I was helping pay for the big new fancy building. Not a happy camper and feeling ripped off.

Usually I dread the car buying process, but once I got a text from my super helpful salesman Joe Z. I knew it was gonna be a good experience. Joe was very knowledgeable and kind and greeted me at the door with the vehicle ready to test drive by the time I got there. Super high quality selection and staff here. Highly recommend asking for Joe personally.

Today was my first day going to this location since they moved from North 76th. I made an appointment ahead of time for oil change and when I arrived no one came to greet me and I was looking around as to what to do. One of the workers happen to be walking by and said someone should've been out here and asked me to hold on and he open the door for me to go inside. Two workers were sitting down, one on the phone and the other was listening to a coworker complain about something. When he ended his call he addressed me and checked my appointment and told me that my oil change will cost $90 because they use synthetic oil now. I was totally surprised and told him that I should've been informed of that when I made my appointment since they didn't keep the same prices as before. I understand prices have increased but $90 for a typical oil change! That's ridiculous and I was thinking about buying a new car from this location, well that won't be happening. I'm very disappointed in their extraordinary high price for an oil change and that I needed to go somewhere else. Needless to say, I will not be going back!!

I arrived 15 minutes late but.was not a problem. Amato met me after driving thru the service door. Everything went smoothly, no financial surprises or extra repairs needed. The car looked great after the free wash. Not always a low cost adventure. I trust Amato’s opinion but will shop around when needed.

As far as I know, work was completed as ordered. it took about 20 minutes longer than quoted. Additionally, the invoice for the bill does not total correctly - the itemized lines including tax/etc., do not add up to what I was charged (I was charged more - only a few dollars, but still). I was also told my car would be washed and it was not. Dealership was not busy - 2 other people were waiting in addition to myself.

John Amato Hyundai and our sales person Gary Prestige are great. Gary understands his customers needs and works to achieve that goal along with a great price and offer great Amato service after the sale. Will definitely be back, this is my 6th Hyundai I’ve owned over the years.Great cars and SUV’s, love the long warranty.

Upon arrival, not one of four service members bothered to acknowledge my arrival. Service member denied use of their own service coupon until I complained about why they mailed me a coupon that they wouldn’t honor. Very frustrating experience. We have purchased two new vehicles in the past. I will find a new service center.

I needed my rear brakes done and the dealership I usually take my car to couldn’t get me in for a week. My husband had just had his car serviced at Amato (Menomonee Falls) and was extremely pleased, so I called and was able to get in the next day!The entire team, from customer svc to the mechanics, were great. I had to take a video call while waiting for the car and they gave me a private area to take the call. They answered my questions, washed my car and even called me a few days later to follow-up. Great experience! Amato Menomonee Falls is my new “go-to” service center.
