Apparently Landmark CU's systems went down over the weekend with NO notice to their customers. My partner made a purchase for our business yesterday and could only use $500. When he tried swiping again, it did not go through. He went to a gas station and when it declined there, the attendant told him that it stated "Daily limit reached" on his end. We have never had this issue with our business debit card before. When I called this morning to get answers, I was told that because the systems went down over the weekend, customers can only make up to $500 in purchases with their debit cards until the issue is resolved. Most business owners have daily purchases over $500, such as ourselves, and this "issue" is completely unacceptable. We will be looking for a new bank because Landmark has proven to us on several occasions that they clearly can not keep up with the services that they are supposed to provide for their customers. Seriously though, not even a mass email to their customers about the system shut down for a heads up? Comical!

What used to be the best landmark location has become a frustrating experience. Employees are much less welcoming now, and it is frustrating the level Landmark has cut back their customer service across the board.

A decent credit union, they are small and growing fast. I love the neighborhood location, you can get to know everyone, and they know you.

Everyone that works there is very polite and always willing to help in any way they can. They do a great job getting you the loan you need, Always giving you the best interest rates. I have been going there for many years and will continue many more.

I went to this location to open a savings account and I immediately felt a bad unwelcoming vibe from Tonya R. when I went into her office. She advised me that I was denied and couldn’t tell me why and gave me an adverse action paper and said to call Chexsystems. I checked my report and called Chexsystems and they advised me that they don’t see why I could have been denied because my file didn’t raise any red flags or show any bad history. Chexsystems said the financial institution should be the ones to tell me why I was denied because it is ultimately up to them not Chexsystems. I went back to this credit union to speak with the manager Kenneth L. and he told me that he doesn’t know why I was denied but would escalate it to the regional manager. So I went to a different credit union right after and was able to open a savings and checking account with no problem! Kenneth called me the next day twice to tell me that the regional manager made an exception and that I can open an account with them but I respectfully declined and advised I went to another credit union. Although Landmark has a good reputation, this location did not display that. I do not recommend.

Had an issue that I needed help with fast. Michael, the Sr. Personal Financial Officer, was very helpful with resolving the matter quickly, and kept strong communication throughout the process. Also, I didn't get his name, but the phone rep who connected me with Michael was also truly fantastic and helped me understand the issue I had. I've been with LCU almost 5 years with various accounts and a car loan and have always been happy with the service.

Refused to deposit a check from my dead mother’s estate because it was a starter check. My other bank had no problem depositing it. Definitely would not recommend doing business. They seem shady.

I don't know if the bad reviews are from troll profiles but I never had a bad experience here at this Landmark location. The employees are nice and they give good customer service

A lot has changed since the credit union has now opened its lobbies again. Hold times have been shorter when calling. But I'd recommend going into the branch in person, and dealing with one of the personal bankers. If you can get a direct email or phone number for one of them, your life will be much easier. The staff at the KK branch are phenomenal; every single one of them. I've needed notary services, and they were accommodating. I also needed a short term refi when I inherited a property, and the transaction was efficient and inexpensive ($89). Recently, I went into to have LMCU wire money to my 401K plan at a brokerage firm, as I've had them do a few times already in the past. This time, there was a glitch, and it has to do with LMCU's new software. They were apologetic, and remedied the situation. These things happen, and I think being reasonable is a two way street. Furthermore, they set it up so that I will not have to go through filling out a form or presenting a letter each time I need to wire money to my 401K. While I was not thrilled at all with LMCU's combative policies and shortcomings during COVID, I can appreciate their current efforts, and the staff is trying very hard. I give them 5 stars currently. Average it with my prior one star review, and you get an average of two point five--round up to a three. Let's see how things go for a while.

Worst experience ever in banking. Incompetent teller. Had me endorse a check and then informed me that the bank would have to hold it for 3 business days. Eduardo he said his name was and refused to give me his last name. I'm still struggling to get my money from that check. I would never recommend Landmark. Not
