βDiscount Liquor on Oklahoma had for years been my go-to stop for beer and liquor whenever I was in the Milwaukee area. My work has me living for a while down here, and it's just as great as I remember. Huge selection of craft beers from all over the country. Rare finds from smaller breweries throughout Wisconsin. Great prices on all of their liquorβcomparable to Costco or Woodman's. The staff there had always been very friendly and helpful, and that's still the case today. Had to take this photo because it brought back such great memoriesβhope they never think about changing that sign design.β
βNot at all surprised that this place only has straight up fives! Geral (sort of I got that spelling wrong) and Becca (may of got that wrong too haha) But an absolutely awesome and fun place really kind and friendly they truly match the aesthetic probably because they created it ??β€οΈβ???β
βThe only reason I took a start away is because the store is pretty small. Other than that, great store, helpful staff, and above adverts shopping experience. There are a few things here that I come for - store brands that I can't find anywhere else comparible. Also, you never wait in line here. If even one person is seen waiting, they immediately open another register. There are no self checkouts, and they bag your groceries (and do an excellent job of it).β
βJust popped in. You can sit wherever. There's a bar as well as additional seating. Appears you order from the mirror on the wall (to your right when you immediately enter). You can buy by the glass or a bottle. They charge a corking fee. They also have some snacks.Its decorated well and the seating options were nice.β
βI love this place and all the things inside of it. Wonderful select selection of meat, produce, sodas, THE ICE CREAM Jenniβs cake ice cream. Oh my goodness. The customer service is top notch and friendly. They have a good selection of adult beverages.β
βMy goodness. Otto's is the first incredible liquor store I've been to since Iowa. Their selection is equisite and contains everything (besides Sloane's Dry Gin) that you could wish for. The beers are experiential, including Trappist Monk brews. The hard spirits are plethoric! I haven't even considered the wine and that section takes up a significant portion of the store! Sincerely going to be my #1 spot to stop at. Do you want a fun drink for friends being over? Start here.β

βI didn't realize I've never reviewed this place. I used to live down the road, and this is easily the nicest liquor store in miles from it. When I say that I mean it's extremely well kept and the staff is full of people I've come to enjoy seeing (I'm aware they're just working, they're still consistently nice to me though). Honestly, it's just a great place to go.β

βJimmy's is my go to location for a very good variety of hard liquor and fine wines. I always highly recommend Jimmy's to other people I know and/or come across.β
βClosest store to my home. Food they make is always good and fresh. Although i will say some of the items in the store can be a little pricey. Otherwise owner and his family are great.β

βI honestly don't know why I don't come in here more often, the selection is absolutely incredible. Probably one of the biggest mom and pop liquor stores in the area. My favorite part is that they have one of the biggest beer coolers, anything that comes in a can is guaranteed to be ice cold.β
βYes they have a lot of food and things but they are way over priced. My friend uses the Western Union from them and they charge for the trans action. He says anywhere else he goes they don't charge him anything when he receives his money.β
βAlways a quick and easy check out not a long wait if there is a line would frequently go there and I do and they're pretty nice once you get to know everybody that works there they got a good variety of stuff to choose from other than just liquorβ
βI am not a big alcohol drinker but when a need a Pina Colada they have everything I need and their ice binds are full when I need Ice. I have been a customer for over 40 years and their quality is always high and they seem to have what you need when you need it.β

βI live in the suburbs but work a block away from this store and I would come here during my breaks when I needed a vape. I will only ever come here to buy vapes!! And I wanna express why.I'm picky and some times I need to browse a bit. At any other store I am haggled and having unwarranted recommendations on brands and flavors that are unrelated to what I'm looking for and if I buy something they try to hustle me to buy more.But this place is different.I believe he's the owner, but he's always really welcoming, and he will let me look as long as I need to. and if he asks what Im looking for he will give me realistic recommendations. recently, he offered to put in an order for what I was looking for that I was having a hard time finding at any store! I will only come here because of this service. Even though it's far from where I live this small detail alone makes such a difference in my experience.β

β10/10 the owner is so nice. He greets you like he knows you personally whenever you come in. He sells ice cream in a little counter. He is so generous with the portion sizes and his prices are good. Heβs amazing 100% recommend.β

βMy 'go to' wine store on Farwell is the best place to shop for special occasion and everyday wines as well. Their selection is impressive and their staff super helpful. There are always store specials, which I frequently purchase. If you're looking for a place to enjoy a glass of wine, they also have a wine bar at the back of the store. Their knowledgable staff can walk you through varietals that are unfamiliar to you. Also, wine tastings take place on a regular basis so sign up for their newsletter.β

They have quite a bit of wine for a neighborhood store. Iβm sure even the discerning wine enthusiast would be satisfied with the options.
Lots of great craft beer in the store. Plus, they have all the standard domestic options.
The liquor selection is good. Itβs not the most expensive but itβs curated well. The pricing is better than you would normally anticipate at a small store. Definitely worth a stop.β

βI used to come here weekly for the sandwiches. So delicious. But of course, there are lots of other great things. Some of my favorites: great selection of nice charcuterie and cheeses, excellent meats, good variety of beer, wine, etc., nice produce, and a really great bakery/sweets case. We almost always get the Knudsens carmels also. Old timey feel, classic neighborhood grocery. Beware: checkout area is narrow and often congested, especially near dinner hours. Oh, and they have tiny shopping carts for the kids, which mine love. Couldn't imagine the neighborhood without this place.β
βThe cool thing about these little corner stores is that they will sell you just one bottle of bud light or just one twinky out of a box of twinkys. Nice guy doing the cashier work. He calls everyone boss. Prices are cheap.β
