It was a sad day. My little dog was in a lot of pain. They helped her cross the rainbow bridge and helped to ease my pain.

I love MADACC. I was there three times this week with food, litter box and scratching post for donations. My last cat I got from Madacc eight years ago and he is the BEST! All the volunteers are wonderful!

It's there job to go Prowling looking for a accident waiting to happen so that they can over charge you to receive your animal back.

RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN AWAY FROM HERE AS FAR AS YOU CAN!!!!!! My experience with this place was far from perfect. I don’t even know where to start with all the problems I had here. It all starts about 6 months ago, I found a dog available on the website, it was under the available for adoption, so I called to confirm the dog was still available because I didn’t want to drive 1 hour to see a dog that wasn’t available, and they confirmed it was available. ( At this point I didn’t know they were lying to me and this was only lie #1.) I drove the hour to go see the dog, when I got there the people inform me the dog isn’t available and had been adopted almost 2 weeks prior to when I showed up to see the dog, (this is when I found out they had lied to me again, first they lied about the availability on the website, and then on the phone when I called which was lie #2) (this is called a bait and switch which is very illegal to be exact it is fraud and a felony) I then asked to know why they had lied to me and they told me they didn’t (lie #3) and proceeded to disrespect me and tell me I was wrong, so when I showed them the dog was listed as available for adoption on the website, the person showing me the dog said that’s not their job to remove the listing, and it wasn’t their fault and didn’t even apologize to me for being rude to me. (I should have ran as fast as I could at this point but I didn’t.) I asked what other small dogs were available and they brought out a dog they said I could take home that day even tho it was covered in scabs and missing half of its fur. (A big red flag about how they treat animals here, and I still didn’t run.) they showed me 1 more dog and it was cute and adorable and I feel in love with it, I asked if the dog was potty trained they told me it was (lie #4) they then told me all they had to do was spay the dog (lie #5) I to this day don’t know what they did to her but she was never the same when after I picked her up from being “spayed”. Skip ahead to last week the only apartment I could find to rent doesn’t allow chihuahuas due to the fact they are untrainable and the most destructive dog to exist sadly, so I had to give her away, which breaks my heart, still crying about it now, so I called to confirm that I could drop the dog off since I can’t take it with me when I move, they said yes (lie #6) so I start my 2 hour round trip to drop my dog off when I get there they told me they don’t accept animals unless they are a stray or bit somebody so hard it broke skin within the last 10 days. So my final decision is that nobody here knows how to do their job or knows anything at all, they don’t take care of the animals, and will say anything or do anything including committing illegal activities such as fraud and felonies just to get you to adopt an animal.

The representative at the last window was very friendly and assisted with any questions I had in regards to adopting a dog that I found loose. I wanted the dog and they made sure she had her shots and all. Even when she had a small cold, they helped without me having to spend money at a vet for treatment. This is a great place to adopt animals. Very professional and kind atmosphere. Lots of beautiful animals

We have rescued our two pups and two cats from MADACC. At MADACC you are adopting an animal that has been found as a stray on the streets of Milwaukee. These animals need lots of love and attention. Madacc gave us numerous resources after we adopted each of our pets such as a first free checkup at an affiliated vet. If you have some extra love to give, please adopt one of these sweet fur babies! You will change their lives and more importantly they will change yours.
