The Milwaukee County Zoo is a very huge and highly recommended destination for families, offering lots of different sections and animals to explore. It features a huge playground, a train ride, a rope course, a merry-go-round, and interactive learning material for all ages. Seasonal events like Wild Lights provide a magical and beautiful evening experience, with hundreds of thousands of sparkling lights and animal-themed displays throughout the forest and pathways, creating an unbelievable and spectacular show. While some activities like a VR experience cost extra, the zoo is considered one of the best, offering fun activities and an enjoyable experience for visitors.
Went to the Christmas lights at the zoo. They are fantastic. The amount of work that must go into setting up the lights is astounding. We went during the holiday lights and what a spectacular show- the lights were beautifully done! For the price I wish we would have had a car load but still an enjoyable experience.
