This school is racist the white students at the school treat the black students as if they don’t belong the principles and the teachers try to cover it up. This has happened twice with the school. If your child is in Girl Scouts, I advise you to go to the meetings with your child, especially if your child is African-American. African American children at Girl Scouts do not get the privilege like the white kids that I’ve seen this firsthand for myself. This is why I removed my children from their troop. The principal lies and cover up the fact that White parents and students don’t want their children playing with African American children. When I complain that a child told my child that she cannot play with them because she was not White the principal lied and said that the class was working on who am I unit, when in fact, who am I came out in the beginning of the school year in August. This is now October. The fact that-she told me a lie to cover up the fact that the white student told my African-American child that she cannot play with them because she was black. This school needs to be investigated I am contacting the school board today and even contacting a news station. This school needs to be ashamed for the actions. Then they sent me a 1 sentence report following up on their investigation. 1 sentence now. We are talking about a white child who is kicking pushing and hitting my child and who makes racial comments as well.

Great experience since enrolling my oldest 6 years ago. She’ll be graduating next year, and my twins will be in first grade. It’s amazing to watch the development of the French language and knowledge and appreciation of culture and acceptance in general. Like any school, COVID years were tough, but I was very impressed on how all the staff really pulled it together so well. There was also some administrative changes during that time which I’m sure didn’t make things easier. Since COVID restrictions have been lifted and administration is solid, it’s such a cool community for my family to be a part of. All 3 of my kids love going to school. The teachers are dedicated and truly know and care about their students. The teachers my oldest had are still there, and now my twins have them. All the teachers my children had were amazing! They not only focused on academics, but they also focused on social emotional growth, accountability, and acceptance. 2 of my 3 also receive speech therapy at school, and their speech therapist has been great for the past 6 years. She is so dedicated and truly cares about the kids she sees! The school also does a lot of fun fundraising events. They also have interns from France in the classrooms throughout the school year. Great experience!

MY KID LOVES MFIS AND HE HAS AN AMAZING BEST FRIEND JORI. This was actually written, spelled and punctuated accurately, and sent by my MFIS grandson in 1st grade. The school is excellent, halls and classrooms are orderly, the atmosphere is congenial.'Teachers are dedicated. There will always be a couple of malcontents among parents and kids in any school. Delightful school. They are making virtual school so effective. They provide packages of supplies and assignments for use at home. The teachers have mastered the virtual environment. They are making a difficult and dangerous situation safe and predictable for students and parents. The lunch lady...(me), is not the greatest but i am not a professional so my granddaughter has learned to make do.

I went here for elementary school about 10 years ago and it was amazing. I miss it so much and it will always feel like home. I became fully fluent in French over my 6 years there which is so cool and I’m very grateful for all of my previous teachers and everyone who helped me grow up along the way. I definitely recommend sending your child here!

Im so proud to be a French Immersion parent. My lil guy has the most compassionate teachers, Mr. Sagna and Madam Chouchou. I just adore these two. They have made our K4 experience an enjoyable one. Even though we have some bumpy roads with my son, they still believe in him. Thank so much and the prinical is amazing as well.

I love this school! I'm an alum from the 80's and now my kids attend. It's pretty amazing to see six year olds walking around speaking French, and they're fluent by the time they're in 5th grade. The principals also have a commitment to making sure all children succeed at this school, regardless of their challenges. It makes for a wonderfully diverse and engaging school culture.
