Solid 3. Open hours do not match the Napa website. Closes at 6 not 7pm. Lots of reduced in-store hours as well. Call ahead, they might answer. Took me 4 trips over there to pickup an internet order due to store not being open.

Not going to lie, it's not going to be the cheapest option. There are other part-shops if you want that. But if you want a selection of professional level supplies, parts, and or service, then Napa will deliver and the Capitol location is solidly carrying that torch.Mechanics will appreciate the real parts professionals behind the counter and it's pretty likely this operation is supplying whatever auto repair facility you take your car to.

Went on a Saturday morning looking to have a spray paint can made. This location has done it before on Sat but when I asked today the worker rudely told me “no, I’m not turning the machine on today because we are the only two people here” (him & a coworker). The place wasn’t busy, they both we just standing around. Normally I don’t write reviews but wow, what awful customer service. Avoid this location if you can.

I was in town to work on my son's car (looking at a starter issue). I brought my tools, and even a new starter. But during my troubleshooting, something wasn't adding up - it felt more "electrical" or "computer" based. I noticed the "service engine soon" light and decided I needed a code reader. Long story short, I tracked one down at NAPA and headed in to buy it. The gentleman helping me was pleasant, and listened to my theory - he agreed the code reader would help. Sara was behind the counter and was able to track it down in inventory. Fast forward to an hour later. I'm back in the store to return the code reader - I had figured out the problem without it. I feel bad returning stuff like this, but ultimately I'll want a better code reader tool, but I want to research that more. Sara was there to help me again, and took care of things just dandy. The other fellow that worked with me on my first visit was interested in hearing the resolution. Good folks here, and I appreciate them just being there for me. Hopefully there isn't a "next time", but if I need something, I know these NAPA folks will be there to assist me.

It's a Napa. But compared to the O'Reilly's next door it really feels like a 5-star experience lmao. The employees actually will talk to you! And even might have answers for you! And their code reader isn't always inexplicably broken/unavailable.
