It was a Saturday and the New Berlin store sent me here. They said they were open until 4pm. I arrived at 3pm and the doors were locked. The hours on the outside said open until 4pm...no sign saying that they closed early or anything. Thanks for a wasted trip and wasted time.

I always prefer NAPA to the other parts chain stores. I think they tend to hire smarter folks and have a better and more thorough parts research capability than AutoZone, O'Reilly or Advance.

I think the best way to gauge the quality of an auto parts store is how they treat me when I come in for something cheap. They aren't going to make a lot of money on me, and I don't know what I'm doing so it would be easy to swindle me, dismiss me, not be very helpful. I just bought a 2011 Audi A2, and could not figure out how to put on a front license plate (required in Wisconsin, not in Illinois where I bought it) so that the plate wouldn't bend in a car wash or harsh weather. Instead of treating me like a simpleton, the young fellow here acted like it was a perfectly reasonable question, showed me where the license plate holders were, showed me how to put it on, patiently explained the tool I would need. I spent less than $10 and I don't even need the Youtoobs. Well, I spent only $10 THIS time, I'll be back. One thing the do that I'll need having bought an unusual old car is their computer hook up service, they will read your car's error light and tell you what you need. Thus, I can walk into my mechanic's garage not looking like a total moron maybe with the part I need.

Hours not correct on website, google or the front door of the store. Apparently “winter” hours are different. Wasted a trip. Never had any issues with Napa parts or staff, but in this case I leave 1-star for this lack of communication and coordination.

Purchased a new battery today and would like to give a BIG THANKS to all on duty at 12:30 today. They made extra sure I was requesting the correct battery by looking up my exact model/year of car. I was even offered help carrying my new battery out to my car. Thank you for the excellent customer service!

I usually go to another "auto parts store", that store is about 1/2 mile closer to me, why don't I use a store with superior help, parts, and selection? NAPA is great!
