The ribeye I had wasn't very good. It was stringy & quite fatty. I also don't understand it being topped with onion rings with a side of au jus.The staff was awesome! They're very friendly & attentive even when it was busy.I will be returning very soon to give their ribs a taste. I'll keep you posted on that.

Pitch's is a family favorite for over 40 years. Delicious ribs, great bar, in a great location between River West and Brady Street.

Went to Pitch's as we are traveling around the state trying out all its' supper clubs. Pitch's was on the list and didn't disappoint. Service was absolutely incredible. The wait staff consistently checked on us and made sure our glasses were filled and needs met. With ribs being advertised as their specialty i went thinking the dining room would be far more casual than it was. The dining room was very clean, with proper linens and such. The food was good but I would not describe it as great. I had the trio which included ribs, shrimp and sicilian breaded steak. the ribs were excellent, the shrimp was good, but I felt the steak could have used seasoning. That being said, I have never had sicilian steak before so I could be off on my assessment. One of our party asked if they had any specialty olives for their drink and the waitress said she could stuff some olives with blue cheese for us. Wow, who volunteers anymore? I would venture a guess that most places would have said no. The prices were also very reasonable for what we had. Finally, we asked to have our picture taken with the owner, Jimmy Picciurro, the third generation owner, and we had a short chat with him. He was very polite and accommodating. We've had other owners who have seemed to be put out by the request. We will be going back. Thanks Pitch's.

Service was good. Food okay. There is a TV screen in the bar that displays jokes and cartoons that were really off putting. If they get rid of that, I might come back.

Love the Sicilian breaded pork chop, always tender and flavorful. My favorite when I go there.

We are in Milwaukee visiting our family here. We found Pitch's in a walk around the neighborhood and went that evening. What a great find! It was a throwback to fine dining. Sinatra music in the background, attentive staff. We went on Friday when they have Fish specials on the menu. The price is on the moderately higher side, but the food was good. We enjoyed a relaxing meal in a nice neighborhood spot.Dietary restrictions: The kitchen was able to accommodate requests to leave sauces and butter off of itemsKid-friendliness: Not really a place to bring young kids, but they found us a place to change our six-month old grandchild.

To the gentleman bartender that got short and angry with me for not chosing my drink fast enough I'm sorry. To the asian lady that completely lost face and berated me for I'm not sure what I hope you can grow up eventually. What a sad show of human dignity. I just wanted a drink and to check out the place. I got so much less and was belittled. Great place. I hope your lives are happy. The two of you showed the best of what human kind can be. Honestly if you didn't want me to have a drink there just day so and I will leave. I don't want to be somewhere that I'm not wanted. But please work on being properly human beings.

In an age where new restaurants come and go, this old school gem stands as a testament to the enduring charm of impeccable service and time-honored culinary craftsmanship. If you appreciate a dining experience that harkens back to a golden era, this establishment is a must-visit.

I want to start out by saying the server we had was new but did a wonderful job. We ordered the mozzarella marinara, 12oz ribeye and 8oz filet. The mozzarella marina was delicious. The steaks were anything but. Neither of the steaks were cooked to order and both lacked flavor and tasted freezer burnt. The 8oz filet was raw and the 12oz ribeye was dry and tough. The server asked management to speak to the table and remove 1 of the 2 steaks but refused to both. I have never been to an establishment where management refused to speak with a customer. Highly unprofessional. I feel for the server as you could tell she felt extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed. To make matters worse, as we were leaving I stopped to use the restroom and one of the kitchen staff was in there and gave off them impression that they had just been throwing up.
