Used for storage after a flood on our first floor. Was delivered by a driver who took extra care during delivery and was very professional. The POD was clean and very easy to operate. Ordered delivery and pickup online with only minor questions that were answered online within 24 hrs.The only negative would be the price. One large POD for 30 days, including delivery, pickup and a $50 charge for a non-paved driveway, came to a little over $600 after tax.Other than that, it was a pleasant experience and will be using this service again.

Have seen this company around for years, finally needed a last minute storage company to load up the house we sold within 2 weeks and needed it quick. Looked up PODS, scheduled it and had no issues with the entire process.

I will never in my life use Pods again. They have made me a loyal U-Haul customer. I have inexplicable charges that no one can tell me what they're for. I have been bounced around to multiple customer service representatives. My pod was cancelled I had a reschedule, and take more time off work to move. I was promised compensation of $100 for my inconvenience. When i called on a status update for refund, a different rep told me that the refund was cancelled. I will never in my life use this service avoid at all costs. Pods is a scam. For those interested... I followed up with socialmedia@pods. com... They basically look into your problem, and tell you a canned answer (customer is wrong). I feel bad for people who work for pods. Hopefully they can get a job at U Haul some day.

What a disaster! My scheduled ETA for drop off was 12-3pm. I arrived at my storage area at 12:15 (pod drop off area). I waited there until 8:00pm (8 hours sitting in a parking lot) up until I got a call from "PODs operations" and was told the delivery would not happen that day. I called throughout the day asking for status no less than 7 times constantly being told it was 30 to 45 min away. I wasted a whole day and now have to rearrange our entire move. I also had to move our material back and forth from the storage unit to the Pod drop off area (150 yards away). Horrible customer service, reps kept to their scrip of "oh I am sorry sir, the 12- 3 was only an estimate". Also, weather & traffic were perfect throughout the day.

Next to impossible to reach anyone by phone. Hour plus wait time. You can only deal with agents in foreign countries whose English is so poor they can barely be understood.

Waiting on the phone for ridiculous amounts of time isn't acceptable and the call back feature doesn't work. They never call you back. Can't use the online calendar shows dates all blocked off so you can't change your dates. When you finally talk to someone the blocked out dates we needed were available. Delivery service was good.

My monthly fee was raised without explanation. I was charged extra fees that exceeded the cost that was quoted. I reached out to the company numerous times between March and now, and still without any resolution. There is no one to speak with on the phones, as each customer representative states that "my file has been noted, and an investigation is open as to my concerns". I had two individuals email me, but then both have stopped responding to emails for the charge dispute. Finally got my POD delivered, damage to belongs, weather damage and seemed to have been tipped as many things were damaged. Upon picking it up the final time, the driver hit our drive way fence and damaged it. He drove off despite my attempt to talk to him.Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND PODS.

I've previously heard some great things about PODs and how easy it was for my friends to pack up their home and move, specifically for long haul moves out of state. Unfortunately the customer service I experienced before my move process even started was unacceptable so I cancelled my order. I would *not* recommend this service to anyone that is unsure of their moving details.I am relocating for work. At the time of booking, I did not know what my updated address would be, or what exact day I would be able to move in. I was assured numerous times that PODs is flexible and they have all these great benefits, like the included 30 day storage. I told them my situation in depth because I did not want there to be any surprises.Eventually I went out to Colorado and found my new apartment. I updated the address & date of the service and my bill increased about $800. I called PODs and struggled to get connected with anyone who could explain to me why this happened. Eventually the 3rd or 4th person I spoke to explained to me that it's because I updated my address and thus the travel distance. This did not make sense to me because the estimated zip code I gave them (the suburb I was looking at) was only 10 miles away from the zip code I ended up signing my lease in. How does that justify $800?Then someone submitted an incident report for me to figure this out. This is where I got the response that the increase is in line with their policy. "On 3/5/2023 you contacted our customer service department and changed the initial delivery date from 3/29/2023 to 4/6/2023, this is when the pricing changed, being that you changed your initial delivery date, it was more than a seven day change, then pricing can increase."No one told me about a 7 day policy! If I knew that, I would not have updated my delivery window by 10 days (lol). Especially because PODs would hold my items in storage for up to 30 days. I'M FLEXIBLE. So i told them this:"Hello! Thanks for looking into this. The sales rep never mentioned a 7 day window. If that is the case, then I can move my date back up to be within that. The sales person really emphasized the flexibility that PODs provides. I told her that I didn’t have an address or solidified move in date yet and she assured me that PODs is still the best option, again, selling me on the flexibility component. I was getting quotes from lots of moving companies and decided on PODs because of this and the customer service I had received. I really hope this issue can be corrected! "The email response I received was: "Thank you for your response, our position remains the same. I cannot adjust any pricing for you. If the pricing is not satisfactory to your standards, you still have the option to cancel your order; by the day before your scheduled delivery by 4:00 pm local time." and that was that.Really disappointed that there was never an apology or explanation of why vital information was never shared with me out of the 6 or so representatives I spoke to since booking with PODs. Really looking forward to the move I have booked with another company that seems a lot more transparent and customer friendly.

It seemed convenient at the time, but they charged me an extra $200 off of the contract. Even pods representatives said there won't be additional charges. They refused to refund and won't return my calls.

I've been looking forward to this day for a long time, and I know exactly where to begin. First off, NEVER EVER USE PODS. I had issues from the start when I ordered my pods for my move. I selected a 12 foot pod for my moving needs online. When I checked out and processed my order, they attached an 8 foot pod to my order that I also paid for. After 3 phone calls, I was able to get them to remove the 8 foot pod from my order and apologized for the computer glitch that corrupted my profile. They gave me a 10% discount for the inconvenience. Which was nice of them. Here I was thinking, it can only go up from here. My pod was delivered, I packed it up, and they took my stuff away. Here is where the mayhem starts. A couple days after my pod is picked up, I get a call about when and where my stuff should be delivered. This is normal, and I provide them with all the necessary information. The following day, I received another call asking about when and where my pod should be delivered. I explained I just told someone this yesterday and they said they apologize but the information didn't save so they had to call again. A week later, I received an email that pods had cancelled my order and thanked me for considering pods. Upon calling to find out why my order was cancelled, they explained it was cause I never gave them a when and a where to deliver my pod. (If you are any sane person you'd be as livid as I was.) I once again explained I was called twice and gave them the info and felt I should be compensated for this inconvenience. Pods disagreed. Once my move Finally was planned, it thought I was in the clear. However, two weeks before my move, pods emailed me, again, saying they cancelled my delivery. Once again, calling my good ol buddy pods to find out they were aware of the email but my order was not cancelled, after being transfered around for an hour. The day my pod was suppose to be delivered, I received no call from the driver or the window of when the pod would be received. But alas I did get my pod. This was very much a surprise given my ordeal. Once my pod was empty, I couldn't wait for them to take it away. My pick up window came and went, and my pod was still in my driveway. They reached my pick up window without telling me, leading me to be fined by my new landlord. It is finally gone, and the only compensation I received was a 10% pick up for a computer glitch. Thank you pods, thank you for never being in my corner and making my move genuine hell.

Steve and Chris at the office are great to do business with. They do their best to keep all of their transport trucks and forklifts in the best shape possible! Always enjoyable to work with them.

Timely delivery and pickup, clean condition. Problem was during the delivery of POD to new house the driver tore up my yard and damaged my driveway. I contacted PODS about it via their web form, but I was never contacted about my concern.
