Dr Raja is excellent. All the doctors are at Retina & Vitreous Consutants.

Waited 2 hours for my mom's eye appointment because they fit in 3 emergencies. The waiting room was hot and stuffy that my mom was getting nauseous. When my mom said something to the lady at the front desk the lady was rude. I don't know if this is their normal way of doing things, but I wasn't impressed.

I had a positive experience with Dr. Tosi. My optometrist sent her notes over because she suspected a possible retinal detachment, but was unsure. Dr. Tosi looked at her notes and asked me to come in ASAP, making time in his VERY busy schedule to get me in for an emergency assessment. He and the tech both spotted the detachment right away, and Dr. Tosi performed a laser treatment to contain the tear right there in the clinic. I was treated and out the door within 20 minutes of finding out I had the tear. It was incredible! I'm very thankful they got me in so quickly to contain my tear and preserve my vision!

I experienced gross negligence during the surgery I had at St. Luke's in June of 2020. Awakening while in the middle of surgery (when confronted this claim was typically met with denial). Soon after Dr Raja was unavailable as he was on vacation. Several other follow up appointments had to me with other doctors. Followed by a cataract surgery and a macular peel. The severity of my condition became more exaggerated with each visit to compensate for this negligence.

My ophthalmologist referred me to Dr. Tosi.I ended up having surgery for partially torn retina and vitrectomy. I am impressed with this doctor and his office staff. They run an efficient/ busy office and answer all of your questions. I highly recommend Dr. Tosi

Dr. Tosi and his entire team are great. They by far have exceeded my expectations! My first encounter was as an emergency experience, my retina had detached. He saw me immediately. He added another surgery to his schedule for that day and worked another few hours that night to save my vision. Four weeks later this occurred in my other eye. Once again he stepped in to save my vision in that eye. I found all of my dealings with both Dr. Tosi and his entire staff to be great, they are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They worked with me to be sure that I understood both my condition and the solutions that I had available to me. He and his team made sure that all of my concerns were addressed. I will be eternally grateful for my interactions with him.I would recommend him 1000%!!!

I would select a lesser review if possible since one star is the lowest, I am stuck with that. I ended up cancelling my appointment because of the following: Test - when asked if I could see an itemized statement of expected clinic exam, they got combative and argumentative. I was constantly over talked and rudely cut off. Referral Dr Notes - they will not take the notes as expected. So, the potential to have double the procedure is and will be possible (as they stated they are specialist). Expected Treatment and Clinic - unable to even give that. According to the staff it can be from 2hrs to 5hrs. Their excuse is that there could be an emergency. So, I ask I know these tests are time sensitive because of solutions used, does this invalidate the test and there for must be repeated? Also aren't Dr's when in clinic covered by their colleagues? I know that is the case because I worked in the medical environment for 10 years. Clinic failed to take ownership - As a requirement there is a need for a driver. When asked where they take responsibility for the pre appointment requirement (a driver)? They didn't answer that question. They refer to the referring Drs clinic to do that. It's their requirement to have a driver present. not the referral clinic, sense of lack of ownership just exasperated the issue. Again, as explained to me they are the "specialist". Are you going to ask a friend or relative to sit for hours with no end in sight? Thats a quick way of angering a person that has taken time off to be there. Finally, after dealing with the unprofessionalism and rudeness, I chose to cancel my appointment and that was an issue. I asked not to be contacted and they are still calling me. What gives? If they treat you this way, I wonder how the clinic is ran. Will they work in your best interest or theirs? The staff has no accountability, refuse to work with you with an itemized statement, pre-treatment / post-treatment expectations. They will treat your Drs notes as invalid and you as a cattle ort worse. Another thought Drs there will never return a call even when asked to do so. You will be referred to a none medically trained person. I asked to have the Dr call me (so I could relay the information above, and they say they don't do so such thing). I could go on and on. I will seek other professionals from the Wisconsin area as I live here.

Although Dr Vogel is a nice competent doctor. The entire clinic and office staff are horrible. Other docs in the office also horrible. They book patients every 5 min slots and then fit in emergencies as well. They never run on time. And then when you do have an an eye emergency and call they turned me away. Very unethical clinical. If you have an appt here it will be an all day affair. As you will not be seen at your appt time and it will take at least 2 hours. As I sit in the waiting room, I hear pts ask questions Bc he stated the person on the phone blew him off and this clinic staff as well blew him off. This is the worst run clinic. And I am sad to say it as a medical staff myself.

Scheduling staff gets a negative 100 rating. Dr Tosi himself is nice enough, though you only see him for a brief moment. For the hour and a half or more you are there you are left to deal with rather aloof and cold staff members. When you are waiting in a room waiting for assistance you can hear them talking in the hallways. I don't think they care that they can be heard sharing personal info, giggling and acting foolish. WORST of all starts with scheduling. They are crabby and just downright snotty people. Unfortunately you get the feeling you are treated like a herd of animals here. They pack you in, make you wait often 30-45 minutes PAST your scheduled time to even start your appointment. They keep it packed in there and over book appointments so they can just make a maximum amount of money in a short amount of time not caring one bit about their patients. Never going back. Put up with this way too long already. We hear there is a much better group of retina doctors at WMH.

Dr. Vogel is excellent! I go to him every month for injections for macular degeneration. He is caring and listens to me and the shots don't even hurt. I would highly recommend Dr. Vogel!
