I was assured by the store manager that not only would my 3RD box of ColorFix WORK she advised NOT to use step 3 as it would darken my natural color hair. She then sold me blond dye #8 x2 AND yet a 3rd box of colorfix and after chatting briefly about my Bad experience with Gabby prior, that I would receive FULL refund had this last purchase not work. It did NOT work. It made my hair color dark and texture brittle and breaking. I demand a full refund and YES I have both receipts AND the empty/full containers of product!! I spent almost $100 on harmful chemicals that Sally Staff Referred me to get AFTER I told them several times I had NO experience with hairdye or color stripping! They were more interested in the SALE than the SAFETY of the customers!!

I couldn't get a good read of her nametag but the woman with short curly black hair working around 3pm today was super helpful! She helped me find products to help keep curls in my hair and was very kind! Give her a raise, she deserves it!

Never take advice from the employees unless they have PHYSICAL PROOF THEY HAVE SALON EXPERIENCE. Almost every time I've gotten advice my hair gets destroyed and I Google what the ladies told me and it is exactly what NOT to do. They have a good selection and one of the only places to buy good hair dye but even with the sales almost done everything in the store is overpriced and you can get half the price online. The discount area has gems though. Can get some really good stuff pretty damn cheap back there.

Small but cute store and they have all cool random beauty items for sale and they go on sale. The lady offered me extra sale products but I felt bad because I couldn't buy them because I didn't have enough money to help her out. I like buying the mini products so I can test them before buying the big ones. ?

Had a great experience at the eastpointe Sally Beauty today. First time I've ever been there and received some knowledgeable information. The new manager,Caitlin, was very helpful in the multicultural/ethnic hair care products area. She also turned me on to a great sale so I'm trying two items from a new product line at a good savings. I look forward to my next visit.

I believe I was sent home with defective merchandise and not even offered an exchange or a refund. The associate admitted that the issue I was having with this hair dryer had happened before, but manipulated it so it appeared to be new, undamaged quality merchandise when it was not.

Your employee “DEB” is completely inappropriate. Incredibly rude and entitled. I will not be coming back.

Not a comfortable place to shop. The last time I was there (March 2017), my boyfriend and I were browsing the shop. I wanted to take my time and look at some nail products and hair and skin products--nothing in particular, I just wanted some new products to try. There were two employees working there, and between the two of them, for the 10 or 15 minutes I was there, I probably was asked four or five times if I needed help. (My boyfriend who was in a different aisle was also asked a few times, he said.) I've worked in retail before, so I know that's a tactic used when an employee thinks a customer is shoplifting. The thing is, I know I've been treated this way (i.e. employees coming to stock where I'm shopping, being asked every 4 minutes if I need help, etc.) at this location before. I don't know if it's a company policy or a store policy, or if maybe the employees are trying to get commission on up-selling me (because one time, I kept telling and employee there I didn't need help, but she proceeded to "help" me and talk me out of the products I was going to buy and talk me into buying different ones that I ended up not liking). Or, I don't know if that just happens to be my luck and if they think I'm a shoplifter! Either way, I've purchased plenty of products there and I do not like feeling uncomfortable or pressured. The last time I was there, I wanted to take my time and look at a lot of things, but I ended up making a rushed purchase (that ended up being over $60...for three China Glazes, a buffer, a file, one pack of nail stickers, and a pencil sharpener...I think the cashier forgot to give me the BOGO discount they advertised for China Glaze, but I didn't want to interact with them any longer than needed). The employees just seemed so aggressive, and I felt nervous and uncomfortable browsing because I felt like I was being treated like a shoplifter, and I was nervous and feeling pressured that they were just going to try to sell me things I didn't want. I hate when employees do that. This is turning out to be a long review, but like most people, I only bother to review things when I have a really good experience or really bad one. I feel like I've had enough bad experiences here to conclude that I hate this place. I gave it two stars instead of one because I will say that they do have a wide variety of products and most of them are inexpensive--that said, they also have a monopoly on beauty supplies in Milwaukee, because most other cosmetic stores, etc., don't sell the types of products they do. So I will probably continue to shop here every now and again...but if you have a car and can go somewhere else, you should.
