Friendly, efficient cashiers. Prices a bit high. I guess my biggest complaint is the chronic panhandling outside the front door. I have given money in the past, but it is the same people out there for extended periods of time. I know that CVS 2 doorsdown doesn't tolerate it. Currently, if I see a pandhandler, I will go someplace else unless if I don't have the time.

Cute little grocery store that has a lot! Just a bit expensive, so I just go here if I really need something. Their deli counter is really good and employees are all very nice!

Very nice shop and convenient location. They do, however, make whole foods look cheap in comparison. I find its most worthwhile to come here for quick and easy meals like their panini or breakfast sandwiches. I can't imagine doing any real shopping here otherwise.

I live in Madison and drop my daughter off at college every Monday, after she comes home for the weekend. My favorite part of coming back to Milwaukee is stopping off at Sendik’s for a slice of “as close to mom’s” meatloaf or probably the best hot sandy I’ve ever had. The price is right on everything & nothing but great service. Thank you ?✌?

Nice small store, really close to my dorm so I can always walk there to buy food if I need

I appreciate the convenience of having a grocery store within walking distance, but I am paying for that convenience with high prices. I don't know how anyone does their regular shopping here. If I go here, it's strictly a "don't want to drive to Aldi" decision, which I find myself making less and less, even for small trips it's worth making the schlep to Glendale. They do have delicious deli sandwiches though, and occasionally have good deals on meat. But when you're paying 2x on basic staples, it's hard to come in otherwise.

I have never been to a deli that sold sandwiches where they refused to make you something. It is on the menu board, and there are plenty of people working here, and they can't make a sandwich. Nice. One star.

I've been here a handful of times. They have a bunch of things you won't find anywhere else but at a steep pricepoint. I only ever come when I need something and can't go to Adli (this place is 2 blocks north of me). The fruits I've seen tend to be old and some mushy ones as well and the greens in the open air cooler/fridge things are dry and some browning. I like their prepared food area; good selection. Haven't purchased from deli, bakery, or meat areas thus far. If they cleaned up the produce area and get rid of (or at least have a discount bag for softer/overripe fruits & veggies to greatly minimize waste and not lose too much money)Side note: the onions here are absolutely massive lol

Can there be some kind of consistency with your deli closing procedures. I’ve been told twice before 7:30pm most recently tonight that the sandwich oven heater is already turned off. How? Why? Is it that difficult to clean the sandwich oven 10 mins after 8:00pm? Your closers CAN NOT inconvenience your customers because they’re trying to get “ahead” on the closing duties assigned to them.

Best place in town for fresh produce, meat, deli, and bakery. Also, the necessities like the walk-in beer cooler.

I saw something in the prepared deli area today for the first time. It was scallops, wrapped in prosciutto, grilled, on a small amount of orange-colored savory sauce. It was not cheap, but it was incredible! Outstanding! Thank you for this New Year’s Eve treat!!

Today was a beautiful day. I worked outside clearing downed tree limbs from the recent storm. My hunger was calling around noon so I decided to treat myself to a Nehring's Sendiks on Downer hot sandwich from the deli. Sendiks staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the different food that was fresh and ready at the deli. I ordered a roast beef sandwich hot pressed and It was amazing. They used fresh ciabatta bread, thinly sliced roast beef, fresh spinach, tomatoes , pepper jack cheese, and chipotle mayo. The sandwich was wrapped well in a foil lined paper bag that maintains the structure of the sandwich. I ate at my job site, sat on the grass and had an Arnold palmer iced tea/lemonade tall boy . Unwrapped the sandwich and it was still piping hot. Sliced it in half and began lunch. First bite drew me in with the pepper jack and roast beef hanging out of the crisp warm ciabatta bread. Delicious. I'll be back to try other hot food when I'm in the neighborhood. Wonderful takeout experience. Thanks Sendiks!

I go to Sendik’s weekly to purchase pre-made meals for my disabled mom. The food is wonderful and Jean is exceptional! She is friendly, helpful, professional, and so kind to my mom. We appreciate her and enjoy seeing her when we stop in.
