I had a good first visit here but my second was not. Brought my car in for an oil change which I usually do myself but the drain plug was starting to strip so I wanted to take it in before it got worse and have it replaced. I specifically asked for that to be replaced. They're running late and I have an appointment to get to, it happens. But when my car is done they said the plug didn't need to be replaced and didn't do it. Yeah, it still works but I asked for it to be replaced to make things easier for myself which was the only reason I brought it in. Then they also say they replaced some light bulbs and are charging me for it. I did not get asked permission beforehand. Dropped those charges which I appreciated but why wouldn't you just call and ask?? I left feeling like I wasn't taken seriously and wasted my time.

I stopped at Sid’s unannounced when my temperature knob fell into my dash stuck on heat. It’s going to be in the 90s. They were able to manipulate it back to AC in a few minutes. So grateful. I’ll be going back to get it properly fixed. They really helped me out quickly so I could have A/C right away. Thank you!

These guys are terrific! We had my daughter's Toyota 4Rnr in to check out a noise from underneath the vehicle. After spending considerable time and effort they confirmed nothing was really wrong. When my daughter got the invoice for the work done there was no charge. I would highly recommend these guys as they are truly honest and more than fair! Thanks Sids Auto Repair!

I was looking for a place to put air in my tires (long story) & I made an appointment for an estimate on my muffler & possibly, another problem.
I read reviews about Sids, so hopefully, after my car goes in, I won't faint!
I believe his name was Chris, at the counter, he was very understanding & great customer service!

As someone said 5 months ago. Same for us. We were quoted a number.brought vehicle in. They did the work then the price was jumped up by 100$ then argued about it. Not professional. Will never do business there again.

I made the huge mistake of leaving my family, friends and home here in Bay View to buy north of here move my kids to the country after the death of their sweet uncle to the first batch of fentanyl laced heroin in 2006. You don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone
After 17 years we are fleeing the grossly corrupt small town politics to get back home to Bay View with my tail between my legs. I needed help getting a trailer hitch assembly installed onto my van so I can rent a trailer immediately! Who can afford $1 a mile for a U-Haul truck on top of all the other fees?
The quotes we got were all over the place so out of desperation I had the parts delivered directly and my boys and I spent hours trying to install it myself. Embarrassingly realizing Wisconsin’s salty roads had messed up the pre-made holes in the frame and there was zero chance I could do this without much better tools and knowledge I started frantically calling around racing against the clock. It’s not easy to get in somewhere fast with a botched job. I was so lucky to find Sids place on KK.
Having known the family that built this place decades ago the location caught my eye. Im so glad I called them. Legit the best mechanic Ive dealt with in years!
They treated me and the family I brought with me like we’d known them for decades. Chris, the front desk guy grabbed the mechanic who was thoughtful enough to call me back so I wouldn’t be stuck there waiting for him to have time after his current job. Not only did we have a great time once there chatting with all the staff, but they even started trouble shooting how to help our friend with a totally off topic issue. I noticed Chris knew every client that walked in that door by name AND treated them just as considerately.
And Adam—great handshake and did such a great job with this task! He made sure to explain things to me (not mansplaining either!)and charged a very fair price…which I really appreciate because I talked enough about my life they could have seen a chance to up charge rather than use their own reasoning to underhand how broke I now actually am! I truly don’t know what I would have done without these guys and will be back for sure!!
When leaving I noticed a novelty item I had in my childhood in their office and Chris must have seen my jaw drop because he gave it to me!! He couldn’t have known what this meant to me and why.
There are few towns in this county with people like us, folks. Having true character and skill like these guys have is what has made this area so amazing. Im so glad I saw the review about Adam rushing to help rescue a toddler locked in someone’s car and called these guys right away. Hopefully this review also opens the path for more people to find their way into this shop. They deserve your business!!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

My truck needed work. I dropped it off and was quoted 550. I went to pick it up and they told me 750. I told him about my original quote. Then he said he'd re-crunch the numbers and said 650. Sure, that's fine. I asked, what happened to cause the increase in price?, he didn't have an answer. He "crunched" the numbers again and said 600. This guy was making up numbers right in front of me. Zero merit.
Just wanted to see how much he could get out of me. I don't trust this place. Never went back.

Honest fast and fair! Sid’s is a great place to have your vehicle worked on. Friendly and knowledgeable staff that won’t try and make you do things you might not need to do right away. If you live in the area definitely take your car here and if you don’t live around here you should consider it!

Came in unexpectedly due break and my muffler decided to dangle while I was out driving. Service was excellent and was in a timely manner even if it was at a last minute notice. Couldn't recommend them enough for their honesty and assistance! Thank you!
