4.5/5 Katie, our instructor for this ride, gets an immediate 5/5- she was absolutely phenomenal! Katie kept us up on our feet, both literally and metaphorically. Her energy is truly contagious and is a huge plus for Spire Fitness. Thank you to Yelp Elite for this opportunity, because I would've never heard of Spire Fitness before this. I've alway been a fan of Likewise, but if I had just turned around, there was Spire Fitness. As soon as you enter, you get a pretty New-York-brick-walled-apartment feel. The lockers are right ahead, around the corner are showers + restrooms, and at the very front are friendly staff members. As someone that's active through at-home workouts, tried out different workout classes around Milwaukee, and enjoys running/being outdoors, I thought Spire Fitness did what most fitness studios did; cycling shoes to clip into the studio bikes, lockers to put stuff into, refreshments to keep our energy high, lights + pumped music, and working equipment. I went for their Split 60 class, which felt like too much happening in too little time. The class was set up for you to do 30 minutes in their cycling studio and then 30 of strength + conditioning. The stationary bikes don't light up automatically, so you have to hit a button to see what your resistance is. The ride itself was for the most part fine because of our instructor's energy and the lights would go out every time we were going up a hill or building extra resistance which was nice. Otherwise, the cycling experience didn't feel any special than another studio's. The strength + conditioning experience was nice because there was someone to tell us what to do and amp us up if our mental was getting to us. I do think, though, that the space was too small for our class of about 15 people, so we ended up sharing dumbbells or squeezing into corners of the studio space. I would super recommend the experience of working out Spire Fitness for anyone that's near the area and is looking for a great staff of instructors. They have great first-time customer deals if you're interested and honestly, you could call the studio for more information and they'd be more than sweet to explain things through. The space is accommodating enough for your workout experience and the energy's always buzzing! Grateful for Yelp, thank you for the opportunity!!

I took the split60 class on a Tuesday evening with a friend and had a great time! First 30 was a spin class and second 30 was strength and conditioning. They have lockers with keys to put your stuff in, plenty of bathrooms, 2 private shower rooms and an extra room with a vanity to just get ready for whatever your day holds after the workout. For the spin class they provided shoes that snap into the pedals of the bikes as well as a towel. The spin class was awesome, very positive and encouraging, and the music kept the energy up! They were nice enough to give thorough instruction on how to adjust your bike seat so you were comfortable for the ride. The strength and conditioning class was right after in the other room. We went through a couple circuits that involved weights and a bosu ball. And depending on your instructor, if it's your birthday, you may get a little surprise addition to the workout. Overall I had a blast and hope to stop in again sometime. I'm a little out of shape and didn't feel like I'd get shamed for taking a breather in either class, which was nice. The instructor was top notch and staff was incredibly friendly. Bring lots of water!

First time at Spire! I go to another cycling studio 3 times a week but this one is a lot closer to home and I wanted to check out their themed rides. I booked through class pass and I was greeted kindly and asked if I needed anything before class to get started! My cycling shoes clipped into the bike just fine. I really loved Gabby's Drake vs Steve Aokj playlist, choreo, and overall tone while teaching. She pushes and challenges you but not in a scary way. The studio is currently going through a remodel so I won't comment much about the space other than that everything you need is there (water, towels, shoe or cage rentals, lockers, etc) and everything seems clean. I do prefer a cycling studio with bikes that show your resistance on screen. We operated through class by resistance rotations (turning knob all the way left is no resistance, and the instructor will tell you how many to turn to the right to get ready for the next choreography). I just find it's harder to hold myself accountable to an arbitrary knob turn opposed to a targeted number on screen. There's also no real weight racks on the bikes so you have to balance them up front or in the cup holder. Last thing goes along with the bike, I guess. You won't receive any after class workout summary as you choose your bike and they don't track your progress. Again, not my favorite as it's nice for me to keep track of my progress and set goals for personal bests but looking at my watch I think it's a great workout- just hard to track progress. I'll be back sporadically as I see cool themes to supplement my regular schedule at my home cycle studio and I can't wait to see the remodel!

I am a cyclist who comes to the spin classes, but this was my first rowing class so I was unfamiliar with the rowing machine. Alex explained it in a very clear way and made sure that I was comfortable before starting the class. Warm up and cool down were very well paced and the workout was hard but manageable. She demonstrated modifications if anyone needed them, which was helpful. It was a small class with only two other participants, but I didn't feel self conscious, or lost, and the tone of the class was very beginner friendly. At the end she checked in with me on how I felt and encouraged me to try a TRX class as well, giving me tips on both rowing and TRX to make things less intimidating. Hard but very fun, will definitely be returning!

Every strength and conditioning coach works their hardest to ensure that each person that comes into class is set up for the best success to push themselves and feel confident in their workouts. They do a great job explaining each move and motivating us along the way.

I started coming to Spire back in 2019 to mix up my routine and haven't stopped! As someone who isn't a fan of group workout classes, the instructors and other attendees at Spire made me comfortable and welcome in class. I never regret my weekly spin class!

I felt motivated and challenged throughout the entire class which is HUGE. she always has a great playlist to keep you in a great mindset. I was feeling like I couldn't finish the last part of the workout and Katie came and ran the final lap along with me. I Love it here and appreciate the time the instructors put in to bring AMAZING classes every time!!

I tried two weeks for $20 and loved it! There’s a great variety of classes and all of the instructors are helpful and so kind. I brought my old peloton shoes and they helped me switch out the clips before class. The instructor even waited a few minutes to let me clip in before she started class. Such a fun environment! Just bought a membership!

I know spire is a gym that most people associate with spinning classes, and I’m not a huge cycling person myself. So when i was made aware they also offer strength and conditioning classes I gave it a chance. Not only are they fun and challenging, but very efficient. I love that I can take classes that use rowing machines and trx bands- diverse and challenging workouts that you will absolutely feel the next day! Kameelah is THE BEST ?? do not miss an opportunity to take a class with her!!! She’s the main reason I’m signing up for a membership.
