What an experience in the heart of Milwaukee! Great host, nice, safe setting complete with authentic tacos and real margaritas. They did an excellent job and my group couldn't have been happier with then end result of our board painting and dinner. Excellent value for this experience. A true gem.

4 & 3/4 stars, food was delicious & love the whole restaurant but always thinking there is room to improve & develop new dishes. First time I have ate @ “RedTaco” kind pricey, but you get what you pay for. Definitely feel like I could keep talking about this place, plenty more to try on the extended menu.

I’ve been here twice now, the first time was a year ago which was a great experience. Yesterday, not so much. They did not reserve spots so groups can sit together so you have to get there early but they also don’t start until like 20 minutes past the start time. Our class came with a taco plate which was sitting since before the class started so by the time we were done painting and told to get the plate, the food was ice cold. They also didn’t have the bar open this time so take paint and “sip” lightly because we only got 1 margarita each for the whole class time. Not sure if I’ll be back but unfortunately they are one of the only paint and sips in the area. Hopefully they do better than this usually.

This place and the staff are fantastic! I came here as part of a girls trip for my birthday and they were wonderful to work with. We had a private class with Francesca and it was a blast! Most of us had never really painted but somehow we all went home with a great looking painting. The catering from Red Tacos went super smoothly and it was lovely to eat amazing Mexican food while we waited for the canvases to dry. Highly recommend for your next event!

Decided to try something different. This was such a good time. Have to have some patience as they, like so many others, have been hit with staffing issues so drinks and checks took a long time to come out. The strawberry margarita is delicious. The instructors were very helpful and in good moods considering their need to hustle and bustle around due to being short-handed. Very friendly and welcoming place. Everything for the project is provided. I would have preferred to be spread out more as it was a bit cramped using just half the room (especially since we are still in a pandemic), but all the guests worked together to keep from spilling anyones brush cup or drink. I believe just one drink glass hit the floor and broke. But anyway, if you're looking for more to do than just sit in a bar or watch TV, this is definitely recommended. No experience or skill required. I have already registered for a class during Frida Fest in July. Looking forward to more classes. I would make this at least monthly outing when more classes are able to be scheduled. Give it a whirl!

We went to paint, we have been there before to do this. The painting is moved into a different area. We chose a pick your own picture. The people there were not helpful at all like in the past, we barely saw them. We had to ask for brushes and help at one point. I had such good experiences in the past and honestly I don't know if I will return. Disappointed

This review is for the open studio walk in, not a class. Overall, we had fun for the most part and ended up with art pieces we liked. I might come back. I think this was a great business idea but the result is a little lacking. Lack of staff interaction and clear direction led to some confusion and waiting throughout our time here. Staff was friendly at both the painting area and the restaurant area so no complaints with anyone's attitudes. Supplies were slow in coming and didn't feel adequate. We were provided with food & drink menu's and placed an order. They are 2 separate orders as drinks are made right there and food is made in another building. We got our tasty drinks before too long but no food. After waiting for over an hour without hearing anything , I had to walk over to the restaurant next door (where the food comes from) to find out they never got the order (that I paid for). I was then told it would be entered now and be ready in 40 mins (after we planned on leaving). I got it to go. I also felt the food was pricey for the portions you get. Both, the restaurant and the paint bar employees told me there are known issues with ordering the food online and no one was surprised. I really don't understand the business sense of continuing to tell people to scan the QR code on the menu and place an online order when you know there is a very good chance their order won't be received by the restaurant . That's a recipe for making angry people, just saying. If we choose to come back, we'll eat elsewhere first and be very vocal and persistent with the staff to make sure we get all the supplies needed quickly. If you are coming for the 1st time, do that.
