Beautiful theatre with quality performances. We enjoy attending The Christmas Carol every year. The actors are amazing, the set is phenomenal, and it snows on the audience. It is a wonderful experience every time!

The Pabst is a lovely theater, although it is on the older side. All in all, it’s a clean and beautiful venue with an excellent seating layout. The seats are fairly comfortable but not particularly generous, something to keep in mind if you’re taller or heavier. I’m only 5’3 and my legs were cramping up toward the end of the second hour. The bathroom situation during intermission is so-so. Definitely make a dash for it!
I was admittedly surprised that they offered fresh popcorn for sale at the play I attended. I imagine it’s an excellent moneymaker, but it’s one thing to listen to people munching on popcorn during a movie with deafening surround sound, and another to hear it during live theater. They honestly could have turned the mics up on the actors due solely to the food situation. Whatever candy was being sold was also in extremely crinkly containers. A theater in Spring Green got it right—they sold gummy candy that was repackaged in ziplock-style bags that don’t make as much noise. It seems like food at plays and dance performances isn’t going anywhere. Again, it’s good money and Americans like their snacks. I don’t love it, but I get it. I would like to see choices being made with the sound in mind, though.
Also, a word of advice: keep your purse on your lap. The drinks sold have no lids, and people are prone to accidentally kicking them after they’ve been placed on the floor.

Such a great venue! My 1st time seeing a show there, I had no idea how steep up the 3rd floor was. I took my 77 yr old mom to the show and she immediately got vertigo when we got to our seats. I spoke to the two lovely employees that were on the 3rd floor and they were able to get us ground floor seats without hesitation. Wonderful, caring, empathetic, courteous, helpful staff. 5 stars for those two helping to accommodate us! ✌️❤️

Historic and beautiful building with old time charm. The staff are amazing and helpful. The bartenders are some of the best in the city.
