My serious concern and disappointment regarding the recent service performed on my vehicle at your Trans Auto Service. This place has repaired my vehicle three times May 2025, April 2025 as well as in October 2024 repairs totaling approximately $2,700.
After picking up my vehicle on May 5, the next day I noticed grinding noises that were never present before. Concerned, I immediately call trans auto and spoke to the owner; who repaired my vehicle. He told me to bring it in. I returned the following week to have the issue inspected. During your inspection, he informed me that a motor mount was loose and that the control arm on the driver’s side was also loose.
This was particularly alarming, given that my vehicle had just been serviced — and that these issues were not mentioned or resolved during any of the three visits. I find it hard to believe that such serious issues would have gone unnoticed through multiple inspections if they had been pre-existing. The timing and new symptoms strongly suggest they are related to or were worsened by the recent service.
He was dismissive and short with me. I was not only appalled but very hurt period I thought I had found a very reputable and honest mechanic. He not only disregarded my legitimate concerns but told me that I need to take my vehicle to another repair shop or the dealership. He told me that he is not responsible and that if I wanted the repairs done I would need to pay an additional $1200 in repairs. I am extremely disappointed. I entrusted Trans Auto shop with my vehicle and paid in good faith.

If you have to leave your car, they will worry about taking the owner home. God bless them.

HANDS DOWN TO THIS SHOP THEY ALWAYS DO NICE WORK AND THE OWNER IS VERY HONEST ABOUT WHATS NEEDED AND HELPFUL EVEN LET MY FAMILY DRIVE A CAR TILL OUR CAR WAS DONE BEING FIXED!!!! Awesome place

They do enough work to last a couple of weeks and then you need another repair. Plus they will go get used parts to put on your car.

First, I want to shout out Mid City Auto Repair for referring me to Tran's Auto Service (they were full of cars to service until the next week; maybe). I made a call to Tran's and they were very informative and welcoming to help me with my car issue (leaking antifreeze; thermostat problem) They told me to come in when ever I could to look at it. I came the same day and the professionalism and look of the establishment was over my expectations. I left my car and in 3-4 hours they were done with the car and I couldn't be more happy with the price they charged for their services. If you bring your vehicle here... know you are leaving it in good hands. Huge plus is the owner has my dream car :)

I needed my turbo replaced and the staff quickly set me up with an appointment and had the part in hand next day! The knowledge, respectful and honest staff make for a great customer experience. With reasonable prices and great work I would recommend this shop to anyone!
