Young women who works here was super slow and would walk away for 15minutes at a time doing god knows what , took an hour to get through three people very frustrating

I had terrible experience in this location. I explicitly asked for added insurance to my rental because I was moving from Milwaukee to Charlotte. They said the insurance was added but in reality they did not, due to some system error. Nevertheless the way they handled an issue was unacceptable(representative blaming all to corporate). Never ever using u haul again at this location or maybe even any location.

what was I suppose to like when the place told me they didn't have a dolly to use that I would have to rent one. an I had an emergency move an had to leave my stove & refrigerator cause I didn't have the equipment I needed with my U-Haul truck, so I will not rent another truck from them ever again

Access system to storage facility on Pierce St. had me locked out a few times. This means I have to go to State Street when a manager is on duty to fix the problem . So, I go to State St. I talk to the manager. I get assurance that the problem has been solved. Yet, it happens again.

To start off when I first got the Uhaul there was literal human poop sitting right outside of the door to get in. Then the gas was extremely low I had to pay to fill it up just so I could finish my short move. Then I was charged about 60 dollars to fill the gas even though I had to fill it when I first got it. All the representative said to me was that it was my fault because I should have sent a text saying the gas was low. Bad customer service wouldn't recommend.

I wouldn't recommend this U-Haul. I reserved moving boxes and tried to call twice to find out the times I'm supposed to pickup and drop off (confirmation emails don't tell you) and was put on hold for 20 minutes each time. They don't even give you a chance to speak over the phone they just say "HOLD" and then nothing lol. No one ever answers, and now I'm seeing similar reviews with the same experience. I recommend the U-Haul on 1st St in Walkers Point, I've always had good service there.
