I wouldn't recommend this U-Haul. I reserved moving boxes and tried to call twice to find out the times I'm supposed to pickup and drop off (confirmation emails don't tell you) and was put on hold for 20 minutes each time. They don't even give you a chance to speak over the phone they just say "HOLD" and then nothing lol. No one ever answers, and now I'm seeing similar reviews with the same experience. I recommend the U-Haul on 1st St in Walkers Point, I've always had good service there.

After another location told us we “were out of luck” because they “lost the truck” we reserved, we went to this location after calling and confirming we could rent for the day. Told we could only rent for 90 minutes due to later reservation when they had several identical trucks on the lot. Took the truck knowing we had to rush, got it to the residence and found the back gate locked with a code. Called and was on hold for 20+ minutes only to be told they “couldn’t get ahold of anyone who had the code” and had to bring the truck back to the location. After they finally got it off, told us we had to bring the truck back in 45 minutes and gave no alternative or refund, no offer to change reservation to another time. Poor organization and bad customer service.

This place will steal money from your account after returning the vehicle. Our uhaul was due at 5 pm on a Sunday, we returned it at 4:50 on a Sunday and they already had closed, so we proceeded with the after hours drop off procedure, then an employee came out and said we were good with a blunt in his hand. One week later I’m being charged an after hours service fee for returning it on Sunday after hours even though they are the ones who closed early, they are also charging me an extra day in rental fees totaling $110 and claiming I returned it at 9:52 am on Monday during business hours. This place will steal money from you and the manager and employees will be the FURTHEST from helpful. Manager has started dodging my calls, emails, drop ins ever since I confirmed that we did return it on Sunday. This uhaul facility is nothing but thieves. Will never be renting a uhaul again in general but especially not from this location.

We came looking for a little tow trailer for a trip. We went to another uhaul and they were rude as soon as we walked in.So we decided to come here and we got super fast and friendly service from everyone.They are great and efficient

I been trying to reserve a u-haul at this location and it's a joke! For 2 hours this guy just puts me on hold and leaves me there and I don't even think he is fit to work at Mcdonald's place. Do not use this place it's full of lazy and hood people, just don't want to work at all, like a bunch of children

Not just rude, but very hostile employees. I didn't feel safe at this location by myself. Didn't have any utility dollies that I'd requested, and when I mentioned I needed them to move the woman at the desk was very short tempered, freaked out and walked off. She then came back in and continued to talk about how much of a burden I am as a customer. I've been to this location twice and both experiences were very poor and pretty nerve racking. The employees aren't only rude but hostile. I would not only avoid recommending this location to others, but also warn them of their personal safety. HORRIBLE PEOPLE WORK HERE AND WILL ARGUE WITH YOU UP TO THE POINT OF WANTING TO FIGHT YOU. JUST PLAIN GHETTO

This place is in charge of the U Haul storage on pierce, 0 help at all they gave me a card to get into the building after being given someone’s unit already, once I went there with the new card I was greeted with “ Unknown code “ and since someone came out I went in to click the “ Call for help “ button since that’s the only way they answer I told them hey you guys gave me a non working card and I asked what can I do he just said “ I don’t know, I’m the only one here” so I just asked for a refund which then had to waste even more gas again to drive there for a refund. Definitely look elsewhere

I originally purchased an order of moving supplies at the U-haul at 505 Capitol. That experience was a complete disaster (review posted on their page). Fast forward to my experience at the U-haul on State street. Chris and Marcel were outstanding. I told them what happened at the other location and they immediately put me at ease. They told me to relax and went about putting my order of moving supplies together faster than I could blink. They rang it up efficiently and even carried it out and loaded it in my car for me. These gentleman truly care about their company, the U-haul brand and most importantly the customer. Moving is stressful enough as it is but if you can get served by Chris and Marcel, rest assured you are in great hands! Thanks you gentlemen, you saved the day!

Make sure to check your credit card statement after! They tried to scam me out of $70 by not checking the trailer into their system until the day after I returned it.Rented a simple car trailer for 2.5 hours. Renturned it before the business closed and the staff unhooked the trailer. They didnt check the trailer in with their system till the following night charging me an additional $70 with zero warning or aknowledgement via email, call or in person. Only reason I notice was I happen to check my card statement for another reason. Shady business which scams their customers

Manager should have a good manners, be more professional and talk nicely to your costumers. Hiring employees that can talk responsible for their mistake.
