Kind of a weird place. I’m new to biking in general, and had never been to a community bike shop. Went there to get my bike looked at, since it was ghost shifting and one of my gear shifters wasn’t working altogether. First off, when I walked in the guy just stared at me. Like I was expecting a “Howdy” or a “How are you doing today?” but no man just kept staring until I spoke up and asked for someone to take a look at my bike. Then another guy came around took a look at it, told me they could either fix it themselves or teach me how to fix it. (I didn’t actually know them teaching was an option, I think that’s super cool!). I was short on time though, was expecting to just drop it off and pick it up later, so I asked them how much it was to get it fixed. The man gives me a total of $60, just to readjust my derailer and lube it up for the most part. I instead took the bike over to Alis Bike and Fitness the day after. Guy fixed my ghost shifting for free, and only charged me $15 to fix my gear shifter. Overall, not a bad store, but definitely some funky people working there, and only go in if you have the time to spend on fixing the bike yourself.

I bought my first bike since I was a kid here. It was a retro cruiser that they refurbished and it's been great. The staff is super knowledgeable and incredibly helpful if you need assistance with anything. I really like that it's a community workshop, I've been able to learn about bike maintenance and fix anything that's come up right there - they have all the tools you might need and plenty of spare parts. I've gotten a good few compliments on the new bike and I've always directed people here when we get talking.

Rented bikes for two days (along with helmets and locks). The gentlemen working were incredibly nice and got us set up quickly on some nice cruisers. If you're looking to bike around town, don't rent the blue bikes, come to this shop.Oh, and it's like $25/day which is way less than lyfts and helps out a local business with a great mission.

What an incredible place! Just got a rear bike wheel for a very fair price. I was able to learn about the shop’s mission after a talk with the shop’s owner and it is truly a place intended to serve the community. What a place. I can’t wait to go here again.
