I had a prescription transferred here for a family member. It was a process, and after dealing with a person working in the pharmacy over the phone, a complete waste of time. My family member is a student in Milwaukee, he had one negative experience picking up a prescription here, and I spoke to the same super unhelpful person on the phone.

The pharmacists and techs at this Walgreens truly hate their lives and their jobs. They look, sound, and act angry and annoyed all of the time. I can't imagine being THAT miserable. The amount of interpersonal, communication, and customer skills that this pharmacy team has couldn't save a mouse if their lives depended on it. The customer service you get from this pharmacy team is equivalent to the DMV . Honestly, if you are that miserable, just quit. Your mental health is more important than coming to sh*tty job and treating customers sh*tty because you hate your life and your job. When you come to the pharmacy counter, be ready to just give them your name and DOB. Don't ask any questions about when, where, and how to take your meds. Don't look at them. Get your meds and get ready to get out of their faces. That's how it is like picking up your meds here. Get ready to be as miserable as the pharmacist and techs. Lol

The staff at this pharmacy are so unprofessional that in my opinion as a graduate of Dartmouth College and Vanderbilt law School and a former law professor they are probably habitually negligent. If you have trouble with this store I would contact a lawyer immediately. I am pretty sure you'd be able to prove a pattern and practice of gross negligence. At this point in my opinion Walgreens is being negligent by not terminating or retaining the entire staff of this pharmacy. (The regular non pharmacy staff is fine.)Matthew Koch JD MA MTS

Stuff I wanted was under lock. Pressed the button and waited while the request blared over the loudspeakers. No one ever came. Had to leave without purchase.

Pharmacy is very inefficient. I got an email saying my meds were ready for pickup but when I went there they said they were out of stock and sent me to Brady street but they hadn't forwarded the info. Wasted journey.

This Walgreens keeps a crowd for the most part and that's probably because its very close to Marquette University. It's also kind of run down looking and the smallest Walgreens I've been to. Even so, there's a little bit of everything and I go there when I don't feel like making a trip to the grocery store or a department store to get a few things. The staff there is a mix of people who have a professional, friendly demeanor and also people who look like they're dead inside and would rather be anywhere else but there helping you.

Horrible pharmacy. They treated me as a junkie when I came I'm to pick up a prescription Ive been on for 15+ years 3 days early. The "person" behind the counter actually said "if your picking up early that means you're taking more than prescribed." Actually it can mean a lot of things... I thought they made you go through intense schooling to be a pharmacist, but I can see lots of school != smart person.I regret going to every Walgreens I've gone to in Milwaukee, Im sticking with pharmacies in the suburbs from now on - they don't assume you're a low life criminal trying to game the system because you're picking up a script early. They assume you're busy and have time right then to get it - which is the case for me. I had just gotten a haircut across the street, seemed like a good time to pick up the script and not waste time and gas going back 2-3 days later. Also they are full of it by saying "walgreens policy says... blah blah blah". The other pharmacies I go to are Walgreens and I don't have any issues with them.

They have so many customers due to being in the edge of a university that they can get outnumbered and get long lines sometimes. However, in a time when everyone is short-staffed, they really work hard to get through the lines and take care of everyone as efficiently as humanly possible - even when one person is line is complaining about needed a rush to get back for class or work.

The pharmacy is awful, they never answer the phone, My doctor faxed my prescription on Friday afternoon, went there and hour later to pick it up, they said come tomorrow, Went back on Saturday afternoon to pick up the prescription, was still not ready, If you can't keep up with the work, close your damn pharmacy so that people don't waste their time on you, and don't give false promises to people
