“We stayed at the Mineral Point Hotel after an event at the Opera House. The hotel is amazing! The lobby is fascinating, the decorations, the attention to detail...simply amazing. Our room was very comfortable and very thoughtfully appointed. I've stayed in many modern hotels that don't have plumbing and electrical this good. Plenty of electrical outlets and in convenient places, good water pressure, window shades that work, lights with dimmers, etc. You can't ask for better. So the attention to the detail of a traveler's needs is also remarkable. John, the owner, was very gracious and knowledgeable of the town and the hotel's history as well as local attractions. This was our first visit, we hope of many...we will be back!”

“First time here, but not our last. The hotel, bar/restaurant, food, and service are all top notch. Jen served up some great fish and tasty Brown Pointer Dog local brew.The rich history and architecture gives these excellent accommodations extra character. Mike and his dog Octavia are wonderful hosts. Soooo much attention to the details for guest comfort. We love this place, had a wonderful time and can't wait to return. Hold down the fort Octavia and watch out for those mail carriers. ?”

“I had the most amazing and comforting experience at this hotel, I've never seen such great service and kind customer support. The front desk workers were all very polite to me and the owner is also a sweet lady who treats her customers well. I'm not sure if this is just the hospitality of the small town mineral point but I really enjoyed my stay. I recommend staying here.”
