About Beacons of Minocqua
Beacons of Minocqua is a great resort on Minocqua Lake, described as nice, comfy, and an awesome place to use as a base to explore the Northwoods. The property is simply beautiful and peacefully quiet, with cabins that look very nice. Guests enjoy the great pool and hot tub, campfires at fire pits, a hiking trail on site, and access to a main bike trail. The staff receives high praise for out-of-this-world customer service. While some rooms or appliances can seem a little dated and in need of updating, and cleanliness or bed comfort can vary, many love everything about this centrally located resort and return for years.
Got a suite for the weekend, off season, which was smaller than expected and didn’t seem like a ‘suite’. Room could have been cleaner. We didn’t use any of the other services as we were there really just to sleep. Bed was hard too. Cabins on the property look very nice. Perhaps try a different room type next time.

Great resort, some appliances a little dated but fully functional.
This is an awesome resort!! Our first time to the Northwoods and it was a most enjoyable trip. This is a great resort and a terrific place to use as a base to explore the area.
