I've known jim for many years when he worked at another auto repair shop and even back then he would explain and take time to discuss options and alternate means to address car issues and problems just as he continues to do now. Jim knows how to make a customer feel optimistic when his mechanics are fixing their vehicle at the same time allowing the customer to feel at ease and stress free in regards getting their vehicle back on the road. I cannot stress how this garage accommodates the customer in many ways, especially the trust and compassion Jim has for his customers , something many garages lack of.
Thanks Jim and I will always get my auto repairs done at Mishicot Main Street Auto.

Mishicot auto provided great service which they replaced my oxygen sensor and defrost actuator on my Chevy Silverado in a timely matter. Very honest mechanics that address any concerns you may have about your vehicle.

Was leaking trans fluid front passenger side of my truck. Took 2 weeks to get in. After it was said to be fixed I brought it home to find a pool of trans fluid in the same area... right front passenger side. Called them back to get told couldn't look at it for 2 more weeks. So brought it in to a different garage who got me in the next day. They replaced the trans line that was leaking and shot. So called main street back and found out they replaced the rear seal no where near the front passenger side.. a seal that was replaced the year prior that wasn't leaking and then had the audacity to say to me I was wondering why you wanted it replaced... um, excuse me. Said it was leaking from the front passenger side. I should have known not to bring it there when they charged me $45 for a front main bolt they broke and had to replace when a pair is $20 just a couple months prior. No 3rd chances here.

I have more troubles with my vehicle now then when bringing it in. They claimed the water pump was shot when nothing was wrong with it, replaced it and I brought it home and it was leaking bad. Brought it back got it replaced again and back home it started again. Only reason it went in the first time was to replace the fuel filter and now my vehicle tries turning off constantly when I'm driving. I only have one daughter who happens to be an adult and she was at work and you brought me home in my own vehicle. Wow you used my gas when I was never told I would have to leave my vehicle there and couldn't stay. Also the water pump was full and just fine when it came in. I was even looking at the fluids before it came in. And I didn't do any of my own repairs. It's been professionally done. Way to assume so you can take blame off yourself.

Always a good experience! I appreciate that Jim seeks to understand what my needs are and provides me with the information of multiple options so that I can make an informed decision. Plus, the waiting room smells so lovely and provides me an opportunity to purchase "Shoto Heights Soaps" soaps and most recently scented linen sprays while I waited for my car :)

While on vacation, we had a flat that could not be repaired. They ordered the tire we needed, got it in the next morning, installed it and we were on our way. Everyone was super helpful. I would definitely recommend them.

Called and made appointment because was leaking fluid on passenger front side of my 2005 silverado. Noticed large wet area in driveway. Explained to Jim it looked like it was leaking from front axel passenger side... maybe a seal. Brought the truck in to appointment 2 weeks later. Got back home from the appointment.. noticed a big wet spot under passenger front side again. Looked under it and fluid still hanging and dripping off the axel , same spot as last time. Called Jim back like wtf. Get told they replaced the rear pinion seal! I got charged $150 to replace a seal I had replaced 2 yrs ago that wasn't even leaking! On top of that I get told... they wondered why I was replacing the seal when it was leaking from the transmission line above the front axel passenger side! Seriously? I tell them I thought it was a seal on the axel passenger side (I'm not the mechanic) and they replace the pinion seal no where near the passenger front side , noticed what was leaking and didn't say hey... this is what's leaking and needs to be fixed! Nope they just replaced and charged me for something that didn't need to be replaced and then want me to make another appointment 2 weeks out to fix what should have been fixed in the first place! NO THANK YOU! YOU ALREADY ROBBED ME OF $150
