About Buffalo County Humane Association
The Buffalo County Humane Association has been caring for companion animals in need for 25 years. They opened their first permanent building, the Jerome and Judith Benson Animal Shelter, in the fall of 2019. BCHA is recognized as a nonprofit organization under IRS Code, Section 501(c)(3), and holds a Dog Seller and Facility License #521389. The association is praised for its wonderful animals available for adoption, and the amazing volunteer staff who give so much of themselves to care for the animals. Visitors are encouraged to adopt from BCHA, as it is a rewarding experience with all the snuggles one can receive. The staff is described as very awesome to work with, and the organization is highly recommended by those who have surrendered pets or volunteered there.
