Updated my rating, I called recruitment to reapply and they stated that I am ineligible for rehire. I don't understand why, I worked here for almost two years, Left on good terms but now I'm not good enough to return. I guess there really is a trucking slow down if they won't hire back a person with two years of experience with no accidents.

Don't work here unless you want to get fired for anything. NO RESPECT FOR DRIVERS!!! They have the, "We can get anyone to drive for us attitude"!!! I have a accident free record. I understand there are bad weeks but I just voiced my opinion after getting bad miles, several weeks in a row and was fired for insubordination.

Love marten transportation. Been here going on 3yrs now. Hometime whenever I need. Top notch equipment, apps and navigation to pay. No complaints whatsoever. My DM is great Michelle Pickler, never met her, kinda reminds me of Joe pesci. Love them both

Been with marten almost 3 years love the company as a whole but for the purpose of this review it only is in reflect to an individual in road service. Joel likes to let drivers get dot violations rather than send out road side service. He acts like repairs are coming out of his pocket directly. I have literally told him I will let dispatch know that the load will be delivered late because he wouldn’t get my truck serviced. So in short 5 stars for marten 0 for Joel (overnight road service) so 3 stars total.

I would give this company a zero I would. Management is horrible they target you mentally and emotionally. They only want bodies and if your not family or sleeping the way to the top then your a problem for Marten. I don't recommend this company to nobody which includes family and friends. Run,run, run think about yourself because this company will suck the life right from you. Your physical exhausted with answering phone calls after phone calls and emails and data entry just everything that the Fleet Managers should be doing and don't. This company doesn't care about your wellbeing and you as a person. Your stressed all the time and losing out knowing you and your family. They don't do shit for 2nd and 3rd shift people. So if you have family or sleeping your way to the top join the . So many phones from customers and drivers asking for there Fleet Managers they have bankers hours.

I’ve been disqualified for any job offer there because of a minor accident. Although this accident is not on my driving record. My driving record is still clean of accidents! Now I understand if you’re not willing to take a driver that you’ll assumed is high risk because of you all policy that’s very strict. Ok, Fine! But what I do not understand is how come a recruiter can’t simply explain this that their policy is very strict for first year drivers. And therefore they can’t hired you because of this. Any accident or high risk that’s considered regardless of driving record is disqualification!!! Simple explanation that’s all folks! In addition, none of their recruiters no matter what city/state are polite, kind, courteous, nor professional! I’m disappointed that this company is operated in this way! But thanks for blessing you all! God continues to guide me the right path!!! He wouldn’t allow me to work for these ?s Woohoo! I need to celebrate! The Tables will turn I promise!

Worked for Marten 3 years ago. Don’t work here if you value your DAC Report. My Driving Manager told me to pick up a damaged trailer from a warehouse and take it to the shop. When I finally got tired of how horrible Marten treat they drivers, I left. I found out from my new company that Marten put a preventable accident on my DAC Report. The preventable accident? You guessed it, the same damaged trailer I was told to pick up from that warehouse.

This company ain't as good as it seems they don't care about their drivers. I was with them for almost five month and told them that I was about to resign due to how Angel the terminal manager of the terminal in Memphis TN handle my situation but he didn't help the situation, poor communication then he bought my kids into the situation and he never met them.He also told me that he going to put that I tampered with their tracking device on their truck, when he know he was lying.I even try calling the main terminal out of Wisconsin and they communication was worser than Angel was.

Marten Is just straight up horrible from outdated and bubble gum & ducked taped together trucks, to night dispatch not knowing literally anything, to lack of accountability, he said she said culture, to low pay, to no work life balance, to blatant disregard of safety and DOT regulations, to leaving their drivers in trucks with broke down APU In 17 degree weather overnight for three nights in a row, to corporate office intentionally ignoring calls from drivers for hotel accommodations until they are maxed out of hours and have no options to get to a hotel just so they avoid paying, to pay promises not keep, to not taking care of employees exposed to covid, to rude office staff, mangers, and dispatchers, to refusing to document communications with their drivers via the Qualcomm while making false promises or disregarding safety , or speaking to them in a rude unprofessional manner, to them attempting to have me drive a truck with a severe coolant leak and alarm blaring for 200 miles, corporate shop telling me the issue was I need two double AA batteries lol, to night dispatch using veiled threats of me being fired for refusing to drive the truck any further stating “ apparently you know more than the shop” , turns out I did and almost blew the engine if I would of took the load. You’re welcome! The list goes on. Just don’t bother.

Been with marten almost a month. Ruff start but this company really does care about us drivers. They went above and beyond, to find me a truck that best suits my needs. Ryan, Jesse, Brandon, Bradley, and my fleet manager Maria from the Willsonville terminal absolutely did everything they could do to make me happy. The pay is far better then fair, they will make sure drivers are well taken care of and will pay you for your time. Anyone looking for a awesome place to drive for I highly recommend Marten Transport. For a big company hands down the best. It took along time and lots of investigation for my wife and myself to find a good company, and we don't look back. ?? Try Marten you won't be disappointed. Ty Marten. Michael Sullivan
