About Disability Rights Wisconsin
Disability Rights Wisconsin is a private non-profit organization that protects the rights of people with disabilities statewide. Our mission is to strengthen the dignity and self-determination of people with disabilities by defending rights and advocating for systemic change. DRW is completely independent of government and the disability service system in order to be free of any conflicts of interests which undermines our capacity to advocate vigorously on behalf of the human and legal rights of people with disabilities.

DRW helped me secure a specialized wheelchair that better met my needs and I Don’t know if I would have won the appeal had I not received DRW’s help and guidance!

DRW is an outstanding organization. I am incredibly grateful for the services and resources they provide to individuals with disabilities. While the response time is long, the care and attention to your case is not. Intake is thorough and staff genuinely care.
