Staff were very respectful and helpful. Answered all our questions and helped during all steps of the process. The after care team was great, helped with several aspects of settling the estate. Everyone was very caring and compassionate.

I cannot express enough gratitude to the staff at Gunderson Funeral Home for the exceptional care they provided while preparing for my mother’s funeral. During one of the most challenging periods of my life, they treated our family with profound compassion, respect, and professionalism.
From our first meeting, the team was attentive to every detail and genuinely concerned with honoring my mother’s memory in a way that reflected who she was. They patiently guided us through each decision, never rushing us, and took time to answer all of our questions with kindness and clarity. A special thank you to Alyssa.
The service itself was beautifully arranged, and it was clear that the staff had put tremendous care into every aspect. They handled everything with such grace and dignity that it allowed our family to focus on celebrating my mother’s life and supporting one another.
During such a painful time, Gunderson Funeral Home provided us with peace of mind and comfort. I highly recommend their services to anyone seeking a funeral home that truly cares about the families they serve.

With the follow up from both Tyler and Mellisa helping my through all the additional paperwork and made sure I had everything covered

I have nothing but praise for Gunderson Funeral Home and Kasey Wilson. Everything from picking up my husbands body at the hospital, all the arrangements, the private family visitations we had with him, and the funeral day itself went absolutely without a glitch. Gunderson also offering Aftercare services was very helpful for our family also. Kasey was available every step of the way answering all our concerns and questions. And Kasey and her helpers worked very hard the day of the funeral. We had a very large crowd and they helped everything go flawlessly. I would highly recommend Gunderson Funeral Home to everyone I know. Thank you for help me and our entire family through this very difficult time.

Michelle and her team at Monona location was so great and easy to work with for our Mom’s service in Monona and also in Boscobel. They handled all the details for the special requests that our Mom wanted. Everything went smoothly. The After care service will be a great and free resource as we work through her estate. I highly recommend them.
