This review is for the custom framing services. I had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Carmen at this location for custom framing. I had several postcards that I wanted arranged and framed for a baby's room. I had no idea where to begin and Carmen was so helpful throughout the entire process. I was walked through all the options for framing (how to pick a frame, what glass to use, matting and design options) in a skilled and patient manner. I was offered helpful tips that helped guide me to the final product. I was blown away by their knowledge, skill, and attention to detail. It took some time in the store to create the mock-up, but I never felt rushed or that I was being a bother. The final product turned out better than I could have imagined, and I'm so happy with the result. I would not hesitate to use them for my custom framing in the future.

I placed an order for curbside pickup. I sat waiting and 10 minutes after checking in, I received a text my order had been picked up. I waited assuming they were on their way. I finally go inside and see nothing but customers and one employee strolling around. My order is in a basket anyone can take. Why offer curbside if your employees are too lazy to do it? This is the third time it's happened throughout different Madison area stores.

I ordered some items for pickup on Tuesday but wasn’t able to stop by until Thursday to collect them. When I got there, the staff weren’t able to locate them, which was rather frustrating at the end of a long day, especially as I got a text that morning saying my order would be on hold until Saturday. Thankfully Emma and Ruby jumped into action and very kindly helped me with fixing the issue. Emma was able to pull most of the items I ordered that were available on the shelf and canceled my initial pick up order. She very kindly honored the prices I paid initially in the order that went missing. She was able to take a frustrating situation of a missing order resolved easily and effectively in a short manner of time. Wonderful service from both Emma and Ruby!

Beautiful store and was happy it came to Monona.
Stopped in today and only one person said a word to me. Had another question and the two people behind the framing department didn’t even look at me as I am standing there with item, in question, in my hand.
Aciddently put item in twice, can’t remove myself at self checkout, waited and waited, with a person behind the counter as the blue light is flashing. Not one word, bought item at another kiosk and walked out.
With 40+ years of customer service experience myself, guess this art is lost….
UPDATE….Visited the store today and Brett was fantastic! He welcomed everyone in, assisted guests and worked nicely with the staff! Brett definitely understands customer service, great job!!!!

I love this small Michael's store that just opened. Has pretty much everything but more condensed down and quick to maneuver. Has two small checkout lanes and a traditional cashier checkout. Perfect for online shopping with in store pickup.

This is my new favorite store and if you have any sort of craft or art related hobby it will be yours too.This store has an incredible selection of arts and crafts related products including but not limited to: jewelry making, knitting, croqueting, sewing, picture framing, tie dye, shirt design, speciality papers, easels, drawing, paints, pencils, markers, pens, scrapbooking, and more!There are a variety of brand options to accommodate the skill level and/or budget.They also have a great children's section stocked full of arts and craft products designed specifically for kids.There is a rotational section of the store for seasonal decor and accessories. The current stock includes artificial Christmas trees, ornaments, tincel, etc. It will be exciting to see what products will be featured througout the year.This store has in-store pick up for online order as well as self-checkout kiosks!This location just opened so there's the "new store" ambiance which you don't get too often.This store is located in the South Towne Mall that has a free parking lot with plenty of parking including ADA parking. This location is ADA accessible.
