The Great Clips girl that cut my hair in Monroe, Wisconsin on 03/01/2024 is not only a fine hair stylist but she got me in with a full schedule and as far as I know she worked the shop by herself all day..!.. I needed my haircut for a dinner party that evening and she squeezed me in.. I tipped her $10.00 and thanked her for going above and beyond..Now that’s dedication!

I’ve been trying to get my haircut for weeks now. Their hours don’t do justice for people who work weekdays until 5 and only being open 8-3 on their busiest day (Saturday) makes no sense. For two weeks as soon as the salon opens on Saturday(8am) I try to check in online but the current wait time is always the amount of time until they close.

My grandma went to get her haircut on Monday. She does not drive, and her ride had dropped her off a bit early (8 minutes before opening time. There were subzero temps outside, and she's 83 years old. She asked if she could be let inside and was told no. While I understand she was dropped off early, I still think it would have been humane to just let her inside. She didn't expect for anyone to cut her hair upon entering. It just would've been nice to let her wait inside when it's that cold and not really that far from opening time.

Tonight I used the app to check in like I have done every other time, but tonight when I got to the salon the worker would not acknowledge it. After checking in on the app and it said I had an est. wait time of 18 minutes so I went inside to wait and the girl said it was a 45 min wait. I told her that app said it was 20min and as I turned to leave, she said with an attitude, "no it says 45 minutes". I did not turn back to her to show her what my screen said. What would be the point, obviously the girl did not want to work tonight or she felt overwhelmed with the work she had. I regret that I wasted time driving from Verona to Monroe for I haircut I did not get. Over the years the only good customer service and haircuts I have ever had, have come from Shandy and Holly.

Never had really problems with my haircuts. Have problems with checking in and actually get the spot to get a haircut. It's not my first time I've had issues with this place. You can't tell me when they have an hour and 20 minute schedule. Wait it takes 5 hours. Little disappointed. Won't be back sad thing. I've gone to this place for the last 10 years.

The app was convenient! I was in within 20 min just after the lunch hour. Jessica cut my hair, and she shared what she knew about life in Monroe. I just needed to prep for a new transition with work and now have more confidence!
