I will be fair, we only stayed a single night, and the space was clean and convenient. Besides that, beds were hard, and very low to the ground. Room smelled very musty. Bathroom is very small, but still usable (just a little hard to navigate). The location unfortunately is on a busy corner where there is a hill, so when trucks came through and were turning, it was very loud from our room at the end of the motel.

Very recently remodeled. Everything is new and clean. Very close to everything the town has to offer. Three minute walk to a handful of restaurant options. Definitely recommend this place.

I needed a place to stay in the area for work, transporting veterans and the severely disabled to and from hospitals and clinics, and really tried to make this work on several visits. But there were continuing issues: strong aroma in room, changing price from what was agreed on phone...And then on my final night there I arrived after a long, hard day and there was standing water on the bathroom floor and the door to the room was open in the freezing weather - and the room took hours to warm up. I talked to the management and they initially offered a discount but then offered a free night's stay. Needing a place to stay for work a few weeks later I decided to try again - but was told this offer was never made. (My husband overheard the original conversation, so I know it's not just a miscommunication!) So, at great inconvenience, other arrangements will be made in the future.

This is our go to place when in the area and largely in part due to the wonderful caretakers! Helpful, kind and caring folks, especially Deb.
We will be back! Their apartment option is perfect for our group of friends!

We only needed a place for one night so renting an airbnb wasn't really an option. The overwhelming wall plug-in air fresheners was nearly migraine inducing. For the extremely small room there were two which was overkill. Add to that the overpowering scent of the bedding, you had to wonder what smell was being covered up. The bedding was extremely soft. The water pressure was not enough to wash my long hair which was fine.

Very clean and well kept. Updated. Microwave and nice little fridge with small freezer.
Comfortable. Would stay again.

Rented a room for a week for my framing crew. Essentially, it is a furnished apartment. Well kept, comfortable place to stay. Very friendly! Location is nice, not too far from gas stations and the grocery store.

This little motel was incredibly nice. It was just a few minutes off of Route 39 in Montello WI. A great stopping point if you are heading North for a trip and find the day is getting a bit long in the tooth.First and foremost this motel was very very clean! We were incredibly happy with how well kept everything was. We had a nice clean bed with very new sheets and comforter and the bathroom was bright and comfortable as well. We’d like to give a big thanks to Deb who keeps the place clean and manages the property. She does a fantastic job!For a quick stop, in a very nice, quiet, and beautiful little town, I would highly recommend the Kozy Rest motel.

This place is amazing. Deb is so wonderful, she makes sure the rooms are really clean, and always asking if you need anything . She makes sure everything is working properly!! This lady is awesome, amazing so friendly, she's a saint!! Thank you so much Deb for your amazing hospitality!! I can honestly say I have never got treated this amazing at any other hotel!!! Thank you wonderful lady Deb. I hope and pray owners treat you very well and reward you for all the the hard work you do for them to keep place clean and well managed!! Bless you!!Rooms: Very clean. Everything everything in working order.Nearby activities: There are ski resorts close by, good restaurants with good food! Stores bars within walking distance!! Very nice place!!Safety: Very safe and kept up excellent!!

I was in Montello for three months on a work assignment. I stayed at the Kozy for all of my stay. I couldn't be more happy. My room was cleaned and always well maintained. Deb made our stay very comfortable. Very nice management and owners. I would highly recommend this motel.Jim

Perfect sized room for a quick biz trip. Clean, cute and convenient.Nearby activities: Walk to town and Lake. Lots of walking and bike paths.They even have an old theater which was playing: Mission Impossible!Quaint shops, and a delicious Bakery on the Main Street...try their Rhubarb and Sour cream Muffins! ?Walkability: Walk to almost everything.
