Wanted an estimate only. I did get a quote. But let them fix a brake light. Ended up with a big bill and told them i had a shop already quoted me for $20 than they billed me for looking at it, the other shop would've had it fixed!!! Unreasonable!

They have better communication when they are calling for money, then when they have your vehicle overnight with no word. Or when they didn't fix your vehicle by time they said so a wasted trip to pick up nothing.

Had my Ford explorer in for a recall, oil change found a problem on the front which I had for awhile which I didn't bring up and had them take care of it. they showed professionalism. For the first time there I will recommend them for any mechanical work on their vehicle.

Awesome and honest service! Had my vehicle looked at in Madison and they quoted me $2,800 to fix problem. Took it to Monticello Ford and found out something different needed to be fixed and it would only costly $200. Steve and his team are fantastic!

I saw a vehicle on Cars(dot)com that this dealership had on their lot, with no pictures. I carefully read through the list of options that the vehicle had to make sure it had everything I was looking for. I then emailed Monticello Ford to see if it was available and to possibly get pictures because I was 612 miles away. I got a response from Steve that it was being repaired and cleaned by the service department and should be ready sometime within a week. I followed up with a call a few days later and spoke to Rick who gave me the same information. In an attempt to look at and purchase the vehicle on Friday, I called once more and spoke to Steve again. I said I had spoke to Rick, and he abruptly cut me off to tell me that I had spoke to him (Steve) first. He said the vehicle should be ready first thing Friday morning. So yesterday, a friend and myself, drove to Monticello Ford. Upon arriving, we realized the vehicle did not have the options it was advertised with, which were important to me. Steve told us, "We punch the number into the system and it spits out all the info, sometimes it's right, sometime's it's wrong." Furthermore, I had made sure to ask if it had heated leather seats over the phone, but when we were there he claimed that he never said that and it must have been Rick, even though the conversation was just the night prior. On top of all this, the vehicle smelled like an ash tray. I was a serious buyer and had cash in my pocket. This finger-pointing joke of a dealership is so far off of the customer service that should be expected of them.

I bought a 2012 F350 here with under 40,000 miles. After driving it for less than 4,000 miles the engine totally seized up. When I took it to my mechanic he said it had only 3 quarts of oil in it and there should've been 7. The engine was metal on metal. When I bought the truck , Monticello Ford gave me a work order showing that they did a thorough inspection and change the oil, but that wasn't the case apparently. They were totally unwilling to help pay for any of the cost of a new engine. Because I didn't get an extended warranty I was stuck with the lemon that they sold me. They had the truck for almost six months and I believe they knew it was a lemon and passed it on to me anyway. The owner, Steve, even admitted later that they didn't change the oil the whole time they had it. My dealings with them are that they are dishonest and once you buy the vehicle, Good luck! This looks like a professional Ford dealership but it's a Podunk outfit.
