Hey guys...what's up?? This is the second time my husband came to your store first (we try to support local businesses) and your staff was super unhelpful! He asked for help and had a couple questions to which your staff member pointed "it's down there" and "here they are" and promptly walked away. What a lazy way to provide help to someone with the whole isle number point and walk. Made no attempt to find out his questions or help him further. My husband then went to the other hardware store in town who walked him back to find the supplies, answered his questions and actually took the precious five minutes to make sure he had what he needed and it would work for him. Many people are not construction people and may need some guidance. We want to support you but come on.

Had an incredible experience here. On a roadtrip from Michigan to Colorado, we noticed one of our tires was loosing air. By chance, we ended up stopping here seeing that they had "Car Care" on the building. They could not have been more kind, helpful, and accommodating. They quickly brought in our vehicle and found, removed, and plugged a hole made by a nail. They also took care to top off all of our tires with air. 20 minutes and $30 later we were back on the road.Cannot say enough about how much we appreciate their car service department.

Update your UPS method. Returning Amazon items is too difficult here. Every UPS store says scanning the code is the way to do these returns.

Worst store ever. Went in to refill a propane tank. Wrote them a check.went out to get it refilled. The guy said we don't have any propane. They should have known that inside. I went inside to get my check back. They said it was already in the system and they would have to wait for it to clear.. Stupid kids work at this store. Never got my money back.

It is good to have them out this direction. The lumber department is always super helpful. Thanks.

I work at Mt. Horeb DIB and I absolutely love the small town atmosphere and the people. My co workers and even my bosses have become like an extended family. Really down to earth people and the customers' first policy is always enforced! We understand how most of our customers aren't shopping for pleasure, but more because something is either broken or an exhausting project ahead of them. We are here to help, as much ad we can!

Easily recognizable as one of the worse services you can possibly call upon. That goes for the do-it best hardware center, the gas station, the propane, automotive, verything. Multiple issues with many of these departments. A lot of contractors won't use them, a lot of locals will do the drive to anywhere else .they are terrible.

Not the friendliest place in town. Lots of selection but you are on your own in there. Not very helpful. The store is fine. The employees are lackluster. Not based on just one visit. I have been there probably a dozen times since we moved here. Never had a nice interaction or an offer of help.

We stopped at the Cenex gas station attached to the hardware store with our 32 foot RV and found out we had a problem with our brakes. As luck would have it, the hardware store had a large vehicle service garage that was able to do the work on it. We had to stay the night in the RV. Everyone at the gas station and service garage were very nice and helpful. They let us plug in for the nifty and even borrowed my wife a fan for the night. There aren't enough food words i can say for this place.

They were open and they had what I needed. And one of the employees knew where to find it. What more can you ask?

I want to do business local but these people make it impossible. The last interaction was when I needed nails for my Senco Nail gun. I was almost through a project and ran out of brads for my nail gun. I called ahead and described the model of nail gun, the gauge of the nails, and the angle of the brad and they said they stocked them. My wife offered to go. On her return the product wasn't even close. She said the teenager who sold them to here insisted they would work even after showing them a brad from the gun. Since these were not even close I went to exchange them. Upon returning I discovered the did not have what I needed. So I asked for a refund. Even with a receipt they refused me a refund, because I did not have the original credit card. You know It wasn't that they literally charge twice as much as Menards or Home Depot. It wasn't that they hire teen age workers that don't care nor have a clue what they are selling. It wasn't that they use a point of sale from the 1980's. What it was is the total lack of empathy when I explained that they failed to help me twice and the lack of customer service when all I wanted a refund.
