Very disappointed and i felt i was discriminated against even though i was told by corporate i was not and it was not the case when i called to make a complaint with corporate - i went to the hwy 31 & hwy 20 location located in racine, wi with the intent to buy a strobe light but, when i was told by the staff (employee's ,meaning more than one was there at the time) that the company did not carry strobe lights by the employee which was african american employee , i am a white-caucasion . The treatment by the employee was not rude but, not friendley but in my opinion stand offish per say . After, the discovery was made that there was no strobe lights was avaliable for me to buy that i wanted , i needed to use the bathroom . After speaking with the same african -american female that stated that there was no strobe lights of the one i wanted to buy , she stated to me that per quote "you can't use our bathroom " - with no explanation why i could not use the stores bathroom and thats why i called corporate to file a complaint . After speaking with corporate , even though i was told i was not discriminated against , it was a more of a policey per say with the companys stores . I don't agree with this "policey" and i won't do any buisness with this company in the future . Go to auto zone folks - they have a descent amount of inventory and they also let you use their bathroom .

Very friendly service. The salesperson offered to put our wiper blades on. I could even come back if I had difficulty and they'd install them later. Great auto parts store

The man work in the counter was very inexperienced and tried to beat and switch me on an air filter. I rather go to O'Reilly's

Advance Auto Parts in this location is one I often forget about being there because it's somewhat tucked behind other things from the main Hwy 50 view. In some ways I feel like they may miss out on some business based on the location being low visibility but that can work to your advantage for a quicker personal experience. I have been here a handful of times with each experience being a great one. The employees here are very helpful and happy to look for anything you may need. I noticed while I was in the store that they have a large selection and behind the counter is a multi-story stock of inventory that they can pull up from the computer to get for you.In the most recent visit I stopped for some wiper blades and the gentleman that helped me was very welcoming when I came into the store. He was able to find the correct size and then walked me over to where the wipers were. He showed the different selection explaining the middle area was more mid-tier and the wipers to the left being the more "premium" tier ones. He walked away to leave me to the decision offering to answer any questions I had. Got what I needed and offered to install them for me free, offer accepted, and quickly done. A great experience at this location overall!

Went for an oil filter and asked an employee to look up an oil filter and she literally said “no”. Got a different employee to look one up and asked for my shop discount. They said they need the manager to call the shop to verify employment-something I’ve never had to do before. The manager right away said he can’t because they are not open and he needs to talk to the “shop manager”. I said there’s no such thing? He said he needs to talk to someone to verify I work there. I said the attached lube shop is open? He said I need the manager. I said I can call the GM he said how do I know it’s him. Very argumentative and rude every time I’m in there. This is the so called manager there. All of this just for an oil filter??♂️

After visiting this store I will never go to another parts store. I will start by saying it was just before they closed about 5:50, maybe even 5:59 pm. They found the correct battery, replaced it and continued to help others. I read through a lot of the reviews before going and was nervous but I after seeing how some customers talked to the staff I understand their reviews are based off of not getting their ways. Great job Walter, Anthony & Willow for making a lifetime customer.

I recently had the misfortune of visiting my local advance auto parts store, and I must say that my experience left me thoroughly dissatisfied and frustrated. The level of customer service provided was shockingly poor, highlighting the incompetence and rudeness of the staff. From the moment I walked into the store, it was clear that the employees were disinterested and unprepared. Despite being one of the few customers present, I was completely ignored for an unreasonable amount of time. It seemed as though the staff was more interested in their personal conversations than attending to customers' needs. When I finally managed to catch the attention of an employee, I was met with a dismissive attitude. Instead of addressing my concerns and providing the assistance I needed, they appeared annoyed by my presence. Their lack of knowledge about the products they were selling was evident, as they struggled to answer even basic questions. To make matters worse, the store was poorly organized and lacked essential inventory. I had hoped to find a flasher relay for my porsche, but I was met with disappointment when the lady didnt know the part i was looking for and just point it at the fuses section where she believe should be, just to find out that they were out of stock. It was incredibly frustrating to waste my time and effort visiting Advance autoparts only to be met with empty shelves and unhelpful staff. The overall atmosphere in the store was unpleasant. The employees were visibly uninterested in providing quality customer service, and their lack of professionalism was astonishing. Their rude demeanor and indifference towards customers' needs made it abundantly clear that they had little regard for customer satisfaction.I understand that mistakes happen, and no business is perfect. However, the consistently poor service and lack of basic knowledge displayed by Advance autopart's employees were completely unacceptable. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and receive competent assistance when visiting an automotive store, but my experience at Advance autoparts was the complete opposite.Based on my visit, I cannot recommend Advance autoparts to anyone in need of reliable customer service. It's a shame that a store that claims to specialize in automotive supplies falls so short in delivering a satisfactory experience. I urge potential customers to explore alternative options that prioritize customer satisfaction

Placed an online order stating parts would be ready in 30 minutes. Got an email stating parts were ready within the 30 minutes, wonderful. Pull up to the store at 6:15 pm to be told the store is closed. There hours clearly say 9pm. If you really close at 6 then update your hours. It's really not that hard.
