I ordered a gas fill on Feb 26 when my tank was at 20%. Ferrell Gas said that they would fill my tank by March 5. The tank was not filled by March 5 so I called Ferrell Gas to ask what happened. They said that the truck came to my house to deliver on Feb 29 but I had 2" of snow in the driveway so they didn't make the delivery AND they decided to cancelled the delivery order. The problem is, they did not inform me of the delivery cancellation. I had to order a second delivery on March 6. The time clock was reset for the delivery to be made by March 22. Ferrell Gas finally came to deliver on March 18. But by then the tank was at 8%. If they cancelled my order, I should have been informed so I could have reordered earlier.

We got an offer for a decent price so we made arrangements for a fill. The only issue was we didn't get a fill, which is 80% of the tank capacity. The tank was way less than 80% when we checked shortly after delivery. Now we will have to fill it again sooner than we wanted. Doesn't make sense.

I own my own tank and decided to try Ferrellgas after seeing an add for a very competitive price per gallon for LP. I requested a tank fill from them. The truck came to fill the tank while we were not home. We meet the truck leaving at the end of the road as we returned. When we arrived, I found no delivery ticket in the door so I went out to the tank to see if it was under the cover. None there either. I looked at the fill gauge on the tank and it showed 68 percent, not the 80 to 85 percent that it should be for a fill. I called Ferrellgas to question why the tank wasn't filled they claimed to check the electronic record of the truck it it showed that the tank was filled to 80 percent and the amount of gallons seemed to calculate correctly with the 80 percent fill based on the percentage of fill when the driver arrived. When I asked for an explanation of how my gauge showed 68 percent they said my gauge must be off. I then had a competitor fill the tank to 80 percent and the amount of gallons put in to get to 80 percent calculated correctly. The gauge is correct. Bottom line, I was shorted in the number of gallons that I paid for. I will never again purchase gas from Ferrellgas. They provide absolutely no accountability or proof that you received what you paid for and then lied about it to cover it up.

Very Poor communication and technicians were rude to me while my husband was at work. Showed up to fill my tank at 7:00am with no notification, and didn’t because of my fence in the way, even though the year before it wasn’t an issue. Had they let me know I could’ve just opened the garage to let them through. They don’t work with you for paying, they make you pay first and then get your gas where other companies let you pay later. So when I asked for my money back they said I’ll have to wait 3-5 business days for my money back even though they needed theirs now.

They're okay. Definitely not a small town provider. You can never get local support. This company doesn't really care or support its customers needs. They deliver when they want not within the time frame they say. Be sure to adjust your actual tank percent down. I order at 40% to be sure I'm safe. If they know you are at 40% they prioritize everyone over you. By the time they deliver it will only fill your tank to 60% and they won't let you add to the order to actually fill your tank. So like I said, beat them at their own game and adjust your percent down. Then again I hear people who order at 20% say they are told its their fault for not ordering at 40% if they run out. Like I said, this company doesn't care. If you are unable to afford propane or can't afford to fill until your tank is at 20% they will make you feel like a lesser person for not being able to afford the expensive prices. It is a very corporate company now.

Buyer/customer beware!! I do not recommend using. I own my own tank and was quoted a different price then what they wanted to charge upon ordering. $0.20 higher than what was quoted less than 24hrs earlier. Also was told they do not have hidden fees. Found out they have Hazmat fees and fuel surcharge fees they try to add on when ordering. I decided to take my business else ware.

I would not recommend this company! I was sexually assaulted by one of the service technicians while he was hooking up our LP tank. The company said they believe that it never happened because it was never reported before. The technician name is Tom Rixen. I wouldn't trust him or anyone else they send. They even called us after this happened and asked if we wanted them to pick up the LP tank. We had already paid for the tank years ago! They are not a competent company at all.
