This is a review of their automotive repair department. We went to Frey with our Buick Enclave because of transmisson issues. With the prices of used cars these days, we were willing to consider repairing the vehicle vs. purchasing a new car. Three weeks ago we were quoted $5500 but could go up to as much as $7000. This was a verbal discussion, of course nothing was in writing. Three weeks later, with very little communication on their part, they let us know the Buick is ready to go. During this time, if we enquired on the status of our vehicle it was all on our part. The most we were told was "not ready yet, check engine light is on now, we're trying to figure that out". So today my husband goes to pick the Buick up and the total is $9,500!!!! Almost double the original quote. We never would have spent that much on a 2010 Buick! We were not even given the option of agreeing or disagreeing to this price. Most reputable businesses will call and say "Hey, we found this wrong with it now, it will now be this much....." . Or even better, have us initial off on a quote. Not ONCE was this offered to us, only verbal quotes. The best part of this poor business practice is when I called to express my outrage, "Scott", only argued with me about how he never said "$5500-7000", I said "$8,000". Now they are insulting our intelligence as we NEVER would have agreed to that much on repairing a used car. But of course, there is no PAPER trail to this quote because they put nothing in writing!!! We only have our word against his and he is LYING. So, this is my first review of any business but didnt want anyone else to go through what we did, especially with how hard times are these days. Inflation is not keeping up with wages and this is very hard on our family.

My mother bought an acura mdx from this place. She drove it maybe 3 times a week back and forth from work maybe 15 miles and to get groceries, etc for 3 months and then all of a sudden it needs a new motor. Their solution: The purchaser of the vehicle can buy a new motor or we can sell the car back for 3k. We paid close to 8k. Thanks for the 5k in debt. She's not even back to square one, she's at square -5 in getting a reliable vehicle. Your customer service hardly called back when they said they would, they claimed there was nothing wrong with it for the first 2 weeks of having it sitting in their parking lot even though you turn it over and it blows a stream of smoke out of the tailpipe. Your lack of accountability is ridiculous. So if you see a red acura mdx on the lot for sale, probably don't buy it unless you want to roll the dice their mechanics actually know what they're doing.

I have to wholeheartedly recommend Frey Auto for used car sales and more. I recently purchased a used 2015 Cadillac ATS, and the sales experience went extremely smoothly. Johnny responded to my email inquiry within minutes of sending it, and I was able to come in and test-drive the car on the same day. The efficiency of negotiation allowed us to come to an agreement on pricing within mere hours, and I drove off the lot a satisfied customer. While my car has no issues so far, I will be returning if any come up in the future. Thank you Frey and Johnny!

I don't normally take the time to write reviews, but its needed. I'm writing to express my deep disappointment with Frey Automotive, where my daughter purchased a car last year in August of 2022. Unfortunately, since the day we drove the car off the lot, it has been nothing but trouble and has required constant repairs. In fact, we have put in at least $5000.00 into the car, a cost that has been a significant burden on our family.Despite these issues, the worst part of our experience has been the complete lack of customer service provided by Frey Automotive. When we contacted Johnny to report the problems with the car, he was unhelpful and dismissive, even going so far as to claim that the warranty was null and void due to a $500 discount that had been given at the time of purchase. To make matters worse, Johnny failed to respond to my last email, leaving us feeling ignored and frustrated.Overall, I cannot recommend Frey Automotive to anyone who is considering purchasing a car. The poor quality of the vehicle and the lack of support from the dealership have been a huge disappointment, and we have been left feeling like we made a costly mistake. I urge anyone who is thinking about buying a car to look elsewhere and avoid the hassle and stress that we have experienced.

Went in last year to check out a junky old Volvo to be my new dirt-cheap winter beater. Car needed to be jumped just to take a test drive, which I wrote off thinking the car had just been sitting too long.Turns out the car had a completely shot battery and also the check engine light had been cleared prior to the drive. On my way home it came on. Had to pay an extra $300 to get a new O2 sensor just to pass emissions.Car later had a vacuum hose disconnect which caused my brakes to go out on the freeway. My shoddy beater is no more.Service was friendly and the purchase process was quick and simple, but be sure to get a really thorough pre-purchase inspection from a DIFFERENT mechanic.

I called from Colorado in regard to a truck that Frey had and which I had seen on carsforsale.com. I spoke with Johnny in sales, and he realized almost immediately that the truck I was inquiring about wasn't what I was hoping to find. He shared very honestly about the condition of the truck, knowing that I was in Colorado and could not inspect the vehicle in person. I did not purchase the truck, but wanted to communicate my appreciation for Johnny's directness and honesty! His candidness saved me from wasting my time and the dealership's time with a vehicle that wasn't the one I was looking for. Much appreciated!

What a great place to take your vehicle. I mentioned that my tire was losing air very slowly. They tested the run and tire and found nothing wrong. They did not charge me to look at the tire and even checked the other tires for pressure. I offered to pay for their time and they refused to take my money. This is great customer service. The mechanic Scott was really friendly. I'll be going back to Frey's for all my automotive needs.Service: Tyres

I typically don't post reviews, but after my experience I felt compelled. I visited Frey Automotive today & I had a very poor experience with the salesmen Johnny. I called ahead of time about a car that I was interested in. Upon arriving & checking out the vehicle, Johnny approaches a bit aggressively as if my brother & I weren't welcome. He doesn't formally introduce himself or say "hi". He just say's "cars been sold" & neglected to identify any of our needs. As a matter of fact he didn't ask us a single question... His negative energy was so obvious to the point where we didn't feel welcomed & left the dealership immediately. Johnny clearly did not want us there & he made it clear. From what I understand about Automotive sales. The most important part is *customer service & Frey Automotive failed to provide superior customer service or any at all for that matter. I personally will not visit again?

Had the worst experience at Frey auto due to Johnny, RUDE disposition and arrogant approach.He approach my brother and I aggressively with out introducing himself while we were analyzing a vehicle. My brother and I felt very discriminated against and he didn't ask if we were interested and any other vehicle which make us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable so we left, and the sad part is we were interested in other cars there. Wouldn't recommend Johnny.

My boyfriend and his brother waited long enough to unfortunately have a negative experience with Johnny. He approached them both very aggressively and made them highly uncomfortable to the point where they wanted to leave. They felt he was being prejudice when they were simply trying to handle some business.
