We’ve been going to Johnson cpa for 15 years. The biggest issue we have since the change of ownership is customer relation. No one comes to get their taxes done with you because they want to talk politics. Keep your opinions to yourself, in that regard, and you wouldn’t have lost a long time customer.

It was not rocket science, but they managed to get it wrong 3 years in a row! Think you’re getting a great deal because they are cheap? You get what you pay for. Not to mention they were unavailable many times.

I will be writing about my experience from the previous year. Let me preface with my family having multiple incomes from different states. Both myself and wife are vets and I had my last year of active duty pay for this years taxes. My wife and I had moved to Neenah from being stationed in southern California, I wanted to use someone local. Our initial appointment went well and they were very polite. Some time after inputting our information, we were told that we would owe money. We have never owed money. We were told to check back in about two weeks. I received a call stating they were complete and to come and sign to file.I was greeted by the front desk person, not the lady with whom was supposed to be doing the work. The amount did not change at all, and zero work was done in the two weeks we waited. When we requested how this was, the front desk lady went to back to speak with who "completed" our taxes. All we received back was the front desk lady stating that she will not speak with us about our return. We were given the option to either file with them or pay the completion fee and take our taxes elsewhere.Of course after the failure to complete any work in the course of handling our case and the cowardice brought forth by the staff, we chose to go elsewhere. I received mail from Johnson & Weinaug Tax & Accounting, Inc today and was reminded of the unprofessional, subpar experience I had.If you are looking for the shining halo, we went to Electronic Tax Filing in Menasha, with whom we had a massive return. We worked with an out of state specialist. The looks of this place had me worried, but the outcome was much better.Please forego wasting your time and money with this establishment, my experience has shown they will do this entirely on their own if you choose to do business with them.
