Adopted these two hooligans about a month ago. It was an amazing experience from start to finish.I’d write more but there is a toy under the tv stand and I’m being summoned.

I’m sorry I don’t usually post reviews but in this case I feel like I was so unfairly treated by the shelter that it should be shared! I applied for a dog in fact I was told that I was the first applicant and had to supply proof of home ownership and release vet records,I did exactly what I was required by 8 am the following morning, but I got a call back from them later the following day saying that my application was approved but they had someone else meeting the dog first! How fair is that? They had very lame excuses and promised me that they would keep me updated on the situation. Would I ever recommend them No ! Happy that the dog that I was interested in got adopted but I felt it was not handled properly and that they messed up!

This review has gotten so many views. It’s been since I got Colby since I’ve been to NAS but I continue to follow them on FB and they continue to do excellent work.Colby is still a very active indoor /outdoor kitty and Busters best friend/nemesis!

Everyone at the Neenah Animal Shelter is friendly and kind as well as extremely helpful with the adoption process. They were very informative which made me feel more secure about our adoption. I felt very supported and could see the true care they feel for the animals there. I would definitely recommend them if you're looking for a furever pet. (:

Donated cat food in memory of my 15 yr old diabetic cat Tippy, who had to leave for Rainbow Bridge. Plan on donating more food for both the cats & dogs. Someday I hope I will be ready to adopt a another furbaby & give them a loving 4ever home

We adopted our sweet chonky Luna (formerly Hannah) as our first cat and she has been wonderful! Lots of cuddles and naps have helped the transition but NAS helped us prepare the most which kept it anxiety free for all involved. The adoption process went smoothly after being approved so if you're looking for a pet, adopt don't shop! These fur babies just want a happy home. Thank you NAS for all you do!

It's a smaller shelter that definitely cares about their animals. They are constantly working to stay updated on current studies to give their animals the best health and help. The staff and volunteers are wonderful.
