DO NOT GIVE THEM CASH! myself and multiple people I know have given them cash and they tell you “it’s not the amount you wrote on the deposit slip” as if I would come in with less money than the deposit slip I filled out. has happened multiple times with hundreds of dollars to myself and many friends. They “review the footage” and everytime for everyone I know says they have screwed then out of cash. Re occurring situation.

We have recently been working with the Landmark on Moorland Rd in New Berlin and their customer service has been excellent. We were applying for a HELOC, had to open a new account and had to wire transfer some funds and everything was handled quickly, efficiently and accurately. There were a few issues along the way, and they assisted us in resolving each one. They were extremely patient answering all our questions. Although all the staff was very accommodating, Janel was absolutely outstanding. I cannot say enough good things about our experience.

Called Landmark about a mortgage loan. Listened to about 3 minutes recorded messages never talked to a human. Left a message and never got a return call.

I think it's time to walk away from Landmark. I used Landmark for multiple car loans and connected my family members as well. It seems like each year, they get worse and worse. I applied for a mortgage just to get a response of "you'll never get a mortgage for that house." Funny, I have a mortgage for that house. I continued banking and doing car loans. Every loan is more and more processing time and more of a task. I lost my debit card and called for a new one twice, and both times it never came, then when it did arrive, it was already canceled. Went to the bank and got the most generic 1989 looking tyme card issued. I'm embarrassed to even use it, so I don't. Just tried to refinance my son's car. The original loan officer provided minimal to no communication, lots of "I'll be in touch tomorrow," but tomorrow never came. 3 weeks later, advised of an insurance issue that easily could have been corrected, but it took 3 weeks into the loan process (which used to take a day) to mention. I will be closing my accounts, and my son will be pulling his loans from there as well. My partner is contemplating switching his business/personal accounts as well as he has had nothing but problems lately also. So sad as I have been a member for at least 15 years or more. There is one lady who is a gem. However, Megan, who was located in West Allis. She is the best thing Landmark has to offer.

I made an error and five tiny debits (average of two dollars) hit my Landmark account when they were supposed to go to PayPal. I was no longer using my Landmark account and the debits all hit on the same day. They charged me $30 apiece for each of these debits, all on the same day. I tried to get someone to care at customer service. They did not care. They can legally do this, but they are definitely not a nice local credit union that cares enough to give people individual consideration. We are definitely NOT "worth more here". Landfill or Landmine would make better names.

I was surprised when I saw such poor reviews for Landmark, but after the treatment I received I am not surprised. They would not deposit a check I signed over to my employee. (Not cash...deposit) I asked why would someone not be allowed to deposit a check and I was told it was policy. Again, he was not asking for cash. I think there might have been some type of stereotyping going on. Can't figure it out. If you want bad service and to be treated like a criminal go to Landmark.

Rude customer service. When you pay your loan off they claim they need a supervisor approval before applying pay off payment which can take days. Once it's paid they proceed to hold the title for a minimum of 10 days mailing. Better options, better rates and better customer service elsewhere.

If zero stars was an option… Absolutely terrible experience. Nothing but problems, had I seen the reviews before hand I would have never established an account. Failure to produce a loan payoff under the excuse of preventing fraud (takes up to 48 hours to get a payoff quote and “can’t be rushed any faster”). One problem of many. Stay away!

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! AT ALL!!! You may NOT speak to a person unless you call the dolt line that is manned by people that are reading from a sheet in front of them. You can't speak to a person no matter what. If you want someone to talk to they can call you back if a "ticket" is submitted and they have time that day. I don't care if you have $10 in this place or a million, someone should be taking care of phone inquiries. I don't want to see a response about how call volume has been up for the past several months. I have been living through this credit union hell for YEARS!!!!

Guess I should have known by the amount of 1 star reviews that Landmark (New Berlin) would not follow through. Tried to talk with someone last week and was told to schedule a time to talk with someone through their website which I did right away. Waited about 6 days for the phone appointment which was scheduled per the calendar invite they sent me for 11:00 today. It's now 11:25 with no call from their associate. I then took it upon myself to call in thinking it may have been a misunderstanding. There is absolutely no one you can talk to as the entire thing is automated. Thanks for wasting my time Landmark!!

By far one of the worst banks i have ever been with. You cannot do anything online through their banking apps as well as their customer service is very difficult to work with as they constantly hang up on you. I have moved out of state and have been trying to close my accounts with them for the past few years and they have not closed them as you need to go into a location to close an account. Honestly, go somewhere else that has flexibility and the capabilities to be a better bank for your money.

I am trying to find out when I will receive my title for my vehicle that has been paid off. Sat online for 25 minutes and the phone went dead. Trying again now. I'm on hold again with 31 people in front of me. This happened when I tried to get the pay-off amount. It took three times to get through. Go somewhere else. Their customer service is the worst.

Very unprofessional inexperienced staff. They are not very knowledgeable regarding services they provide. Customer service is non existent and don't expect a return call if you request one.

Terrible for loans. Every time they update their digital banking platform, which is often, it somehow messes up my mortgage auto-pay. I then get notifications that I am late on payment as my last one didn't go through. However I make absolutely no changes to my account, submit it manually and it goes right through. I then delete and readd the scheduled payment just as it was and it's fine until the next update. Oh, also, if you opt out of paper billing occasionally when they do updates you start getting paper statements again until you opt back out. And they make it a pain in the rear to make an extra principal only payment online mid-month -- maybe this latest online system is better in that regard, I haven't tried it again lately. None of these issues with my previous lender going back years -- its like Landmark just discovered digital banking in the last few years and is a decade behind all of their peers.
