Unfortunately we did not have a good experience with this moving company even though upon meeting Chris, he was very friendly and reassured our move would be easy and stress free.
A week before our move was supposed to take place, we were asked if we could move our date a few days before, to help THEM out…we did not mind but what we did not know was that it caused the techs Who were responsible for taking apart the bigger items were overbooked and were unable to make it to us til late in the night. Upon arrival they were rude and continued to complain why they were there, Making it seem like it was our fault. They were so unhappy that they didn’t even introduce themselves. This late night arrival also caused set backs with us being out early in the am for our move, as the driver had to come back the next day and finish up. We were told that we would be compensated for the headache, and that’s fine but we are still waiting for that compensation.
We were told that the moving total price was set and after our move was completed all of a sudden we were charged almost $300 more.
We trusted this company and their word, but through all the little issues we experienced, Megan refused to talk to us and simply ignored every call I left. On a positive note, I will say that Chris was always very kind when I reached out to him with my concerns but I am disappointed that I was told I am going to be compensated and still have not received a single thing.
I will not be Recommending this company to others because they do not hold their word and if you do use them make sure that the price is set.

Betsy Schroeder, our moving coordinator Muge, and our driver/team leader Aaron, were nothing short of amazing. We moved from Milwaukee to Minneapolis, an emotional and difficult transition for us two old souls. Both of us thought we were settled in Milwaukee, ready to enjoy retirement, but our kids needed us. As parents often do, we uprooted our lives to do the right thing. Schroeder Moving, and all the before mentioned people, took care of us, helping us navigate the trauma with the least amount of hassle. It was the best move imaginable, moves are never easy, and we are indebted to their kindness and empathy. We will use them again when we move in 12 months. Be wise, call Betsy Schroeder if you are moving. The ease of mind she provides is priceless.

Wonderful group to work with. I was incredibly stressed going in to this move (selling & buying houses, packing, moving, etc..). The team at Schroeder put me at ease from the moment I met with them for the in home assessment, all the way through to the execution of the move. I'm amazed at how friendly and hard working the movers are as well, WOW!! Would highly recommend.

As someone that’s worked in the moving business, I must simply say that these guys were beyond lazy. They put in no effort packing, showed up with minimal supplies & in general a very disorganized bunch. All before, charging an exorbitant rate & proceeding to lack on the customer care side of things. If I wanted my grade school nephews to assist with the move, I would have asked them. In all seriousness, you’re better off asking a complete stranger to help you move instead of these goofs. A $500 claim for more than several destroyed valuables is truly an abomination. Show some ACCOUNTABILITY & FINANCE what was broken in Henry & Molly Ryan’s move. Then I will gladly rescind my statements.

I wish I could give less just total reckless how they packed our stuff. Brand new tv led screen completely shattered. Engagement gifts destroyed. Shoes just tossed at the bottom boxes with heavy stuff on tip. Gave them a perfectly good tv box and lazily packed it some cheap crap they had. I just sit here wonder what we paid for. The service wasn’t cheap it was middle of road price. Customer service was terrible moving coordinator just as incompetent.

I'm an otr trucker and I delivered a 12 Harley Davidson motorcycles here from Sturgis. I was so impressed with this place! The lot had plenty of parking and it was designed with trucker's in mind. The facility was spotless and the driver room was super clean. Shannon in shipping was polite and professional and I was impressed with her, and Ken S. Unloaded my and he was super professional and funny. He had worked there 32 years and was a pro forklift operator. I really wanted to post a review because they deserve it. Thanks for making my day!!

From start to finish, I've had an excellent experience with schroeder. I never had to worry or think about anything, they took care of everything without a hitch. Moving staff were experienced and friendly. Everything was absolutely perfect.

if you have ibs they will fire you for using the bathroom too long. They have favorites (college boys ) so if you’re not a college boy you will not be favorited & treated correctly
