UPDATE 5/19/2025 --- Since I wrote the review below 9 months ago, the drive through at this location has gotten noticeably better. It appears that Walgreen's noticed they needed to add more staff at this location which made a significant difference in the quality of service.
==========
The drive-through at this location is the single worst I've ever experienced. You could have your appendix taken out in less time then it takes to get through this line. Skip it and use the in-door pickup. The drive-through is a total JOKE. No wonder Walgreen's stock price is tanking daily. The store experience stinks.

Pharmacy closes for 1/2 hour, which is odd that they can’t get continuous coverage. But worst of all, I was stuck in the drive thru with 2 cars in front of me and one behind me. When I was finally next, I found they closed for lunch. NO sign posted beforehand to let drive thru patrons know what time pharmacy is closed. When I brought this to the attention of a store manager/supervisors, there was no satisfaction.

Sent in a request for them to contact my provider for 2 refills I needed on November 20, 2024. Today, two weeks later, I receive a text from them that my prescription refills had been denied by my doctor. I’ve never had a Walgreens contact my provider for refills and had it denied. So I called my Doctors office and asked them why it was denied. They told me Walgreens never contacted them for refills and they had no requests from them at all for my provider to issue new refills. So Walgreens didn’t contact my doctor at all and then lied that they had and it was denied. I’ll be switching my prescriptions to another Walgreens from now on. Do better.

Here’s an enhanced version of your writing:
This is hands down the WORST Walgreens I’ve ever visited. I went in for a vaccine appointment after braving snowstorms, and despite being the only customer there, the experience was beyond frustrating. I arrived 10 minutes early, yet they made me wait an unbelievable 50 minutes for a simple vaccine.
The customer service was atrocious. When the pharmacy tech checked me in, she asked for my name and the reason for my visit—then she just walked away. No confirmation that I was checked in, no explanation if there were issues—nothing. She casually disappeared for 20-25 minutes, leaving me in complete uncertainty about what was happening. After that, I was left sitting in a chair for another 25-30 minutes before someone finally came to administer the vaccine. It wasn’t even I was being Karen about it. There were no other customers and at least 6-7 pharmacy staff members standing around. How does something like this even happen? This experience was unacceptable, and I will never return to this location again.

Poor service, staff lacks knowledge and/or any desire to serve anyone in prompt manner. Pharmacists on staff are less experienced and require unnecessary pre-authorizations that are normally not required by said insurance company. Vehicle Lines are always long, 24/7 service was discontinued so there’s never a time when it is not busy. Going through this Rx drive through is a very frustrating experience. Rx’s usually can take 3-5 hours to fill from when Dr calls them in. I do not recommend.

It takes way too long to get your prescription filled. If you need a new prescription fast, because your sick, you won't get it quickly at this Walgreens. Its a shame customer service has gone down hill the last couple of years.

This Walgreens has gone way down hill. They eliminated their 24/7 service, closed several locations in underserved areas and now have long lines no matter what time you come. They also shut down for two hours for a “lunch break.” Moreover, I second the opinion of previous reviewers. Long lines and critical acute medicines are not getting filled promptly. I understand they may need to order some med for stocking the next day but antibiotics, antivirals and other meds for lung disease and diabetes should always be STOCKED! Reopen your stores in the underserved areas and stop making them drive out all the way to our neighborhood. Even the poor deserve service. Why make the local neighborhood suffer for your poor business decisions! If you can’t find pharmacists then it’s a sign that you need to pay people better. Afterall, they are now required to get a PhD to do their job. The pharmacist you have is wonderful but your store is under staffed!

Store # 5438 has the worst customer service for a Walmart that I have ever seen I was there for 45 minutes to pick up 1 item the The customer service desk had me waiting 30 minutes. The store manager, then passed me off to someone else until I got my order. Michelle and lalanie

The pharmacy is not good. My prescription was sent in first thing Friday morning (8am). I called the pharmacy at 1:30 PM, and asked the status, and they told me it would be filled within an hour. I never received a phone call that it was done, or if there were any problems. I called again for them to tell me my prescription would be ready in the morning, so I came in Saturday morning. They told me the prescription still wasn’t ready, and asked me to wait 10-15 minutes. 25 minutes later, the pharmacist finally spoke to me and said they were questioning the kind of prescription I had, and said they didn’t have it at this location and also wanted to question my doctor regarding the type. I called my doctor’s office today at 1:30, and they told me they never received any phone call, messages or even a page to the doctor from the pharmacy. Instead of calling me Friday to let me know they couldn’t fill it, and I could’ve gotten it resolved before the end of the day, they continued to string me along. Will be using a different location or even pharmacy going forward.

This pharmacy used to be fast and reliable. Over the past year (post COVID, not during) customer service and operations have become atrocious. They routinely cancel prescriptions without notifying the customer. They take forever to fill new prescriptions and many of the techs are rude. Last week, one of the techs hung up on my daughter. It's unfortunate because the pharmacists are very nice, knowledgeable and hard-working. We are switching to another pharmacy.

Ripped me off for $117. They are NOT being cooperative and have already wasted much of my time. This review is to warn customers. I'm in the process of taking more action against the store.

Not ok, always behind, never on time, sell you meds you don’t want. Basic skills of staff severely lacking. Meds not in house. HAVE YOUR MEDS TRANSFERRED SOMEONE ELSE.Just when i thought this place could not possible get any worse. Closed at 815 pm pharmacy doors closed. No alerts no signs no internet postings must find out by wasting your and your families time money and resources by stopping in. Im taking anti rejection meds for my new heart, migraine medication and diabetes medication and devices so walgreens always always screwing up is dangerous and life threatening for me. I sincerely hope someone or some agency can shut this place down permanently. This place is garbage. .

Three visits to the pharmacy and, although the staff was friendly and efficient, due to understaffing there was a long wait each time. They also seem to often be short of supplies.

I was waiting in the drive through line to pick up prescriptions for my wife. It took 30 minutes per car to get through the line. They have one person dedicated to the drive through window. So, it isn't as if they are taking care of others in the store. Unbelievable. Trained snails would move faster.
