Place is neglected and could use a deep clean and weed removal. Owner refused to sell a bottle of wine for us to drink here. Had to take it with us or buy a glass. Not a good business to practice.

No more wine in bottles for sale. Wine only by the glass.
Helpful gentleman.

Outstanding customer service, and excellent wine. Gentleman we talked to was very helpful and friendly, gave us the history, pairings and history of the wines.

Very cute winery! Stopped in and shared some Red sweet table wine and a dryer white. Both very good. Cute setting and shop inside! Will return for a tasting!

The wife and I was told that a glass of wine a day is good for your health. We will be going to different wineries looking for the best tasting wine in the area. As I drove past your Winery, I seen all the Political signs out front of your business. You should have kept your political opinions to yourself. We will not be stopping at Burr Oak Winery and will not support this business in any way.

We stopped here as a harvest host camper. On arrival, I pulled off to the side to avoid blocking the driveway. The proprietor hurried out to make me feel foolish for driving on the grass. He then told me where to park. I asked if we could taste/buy some wine, but he said he'd just closed, and while he wouldn't do a tasting he'd be happy to open the shop so we could spend some money after we got set up.
We got set up, and I milled around outside the winery for about an hour. I finally knocked on the door of his house and was told that he'd fallen asleep. He came out a few minutes later and opened the shop so I could buy some wine. Nothing they had really appealed - particularly without tasting it - but I bought a couple bottles because that's what you do when someone lets you drop anchor for a night.
Overall I was underwhelmed. The wine was not my cup of tea (generally sweet), the grounds were okay but nothing spectacular, and I generally felt like our being there was an inconvenience to the owner. This is in stark contrast to our typical harvest host winery experiences, of which we've had dozens that were excellent.

We were looking for something to do on a rainy Friday Memorial Day weekend and decided to give it a try. The wine was very good! The 4 of us purchased 9 bottles so the wine is worth trying for sure. The employee that was working was very pleasant. She answered out questions and we had nice conversation. She had 2 adorable dogs with her that were fun to pet. Despite the wine being good and service good I gave four stars for the atmosphere. We were the only people there and it was rather dark with no indoor seating. Outside the patio is absolutely beautiful but no chairs set up and overgrown with weeds. To be fair, it was raining and the area has had a lot of rain so it’s possible they have not had the opportunity to get set up. Lots of potential for the patio! We will stop back if we get in the area again.

I could understand accidentally stumbling upon your business if it wasn't open, however it seems to be on going according to review's.
From one business owner to another post your OPEN hours or DON'T.... It appears numerous people including 3 of us today are attempting to patronize your business that is posted on Google & Facebook as open, when you clearly are not!
Do better!

Twice we've stopped here when they say they are open only to find no one there after driving an hour to go there. Very disappointed as they make the best cranberry wine.
