We went online to book a “request” for our car to be looked at 830am Monday. Online states “Your service appointment is not guaranteed until you receive a confirmation email.” The email states, “Thank you for booking your service appointment with us. We have received your service appointment request and will confirm with you later today.”
According to online they open at 730am, again our “request” for an appointment was for 830am. Unfortunately for us, we showed up at our 830am request, because we didn’t hear anything from them. Even though the email does state we would hear from them later today. With them opening at 730am and our request for 830, that would have given them an hour to call/email us that they couldn’t take our car at that time. We didn’t want to be told we missed our “request” time. The guy at the front desk told my husband they wouldn’t be able to get to our car until 1130am. We went back out to our car to look at other places to go. The mechanic came out at 845am and said he will go look at it. We definitely appreciate him for doing that. We sat in their lobby until 945am with zero communication from the front desk. I go and ask the girl about an update. She said that they won’t get to it until after lunch.
At this point, we’re obviously frustrated from last being told an hour earlier was that it was getting looked at and now it’s not getting looked at until after lunch, and even if the mechanic didn’t come out and take our car they said it would be 1130am from the first interaction. The same guy from this morning came out and said, “I told your husband earlier it wouldn’t be until 1130am.”
I understood that, but the mechanic took the car back stating he was looking at it now. Never once told us if they have the part, cost, they were having trouble with it… or any type of update. Another employee wanted to also let us know it’s our fault for our communication. Not one apology for miscommunication or any updates or anything. The girl would even leave when letting her know the point was their lack of communication. We don’t want it to go unnoticed that we appreciate the mechanic who pulled our car in earlier and we understand, he definitely did his part.
Fortunately we took our car to Oak Creek Automotive on 27th street. They were busy and still took our car in and took the piece off we needed removed. They also ordered the replacement, told us the cost and they could put it on for us Wednesday! All that communicated to us and done within a half hour of being there. Definitely recommend to NOT to go back to this place and take the drive up to 27th street for a better experience. Also, WJ Kuhn front desk employees should call Oak Creek Automotive on 27th street and see if they offer communication skill classes and customer service classes WJ Kuhn could use a few classes and Oak Creek Automotive can definitely help them. 😊

They always fix what's wrong with my car and nothing more unless they talk to me frist. They also get my car back to me fast. Which is awesome. I am very happy with my service.

I called for an oil change last minute and they were able to get me in. Everyone was nice that I encountered and the waiting area was clean. Thank you for the quick service!

These are just genuinely nice people who really want to do the job well for a reasonable price. And I got a lot of quotes before I committed to these folks. It's also the fastest service I've ever experienced. I was in and out in one hour. I usually go to the dealership and wait at least two hours for nearly any service. I will definitely be back to WJ Kuhn for future services.

I messed my car up pretty bad and left my car here for a whole week waiting for the parts to come. They stated they fixed my control arm, tie rods and strut but when I evaluated it myself I noticed the tie rods were not put on at all after paying for it. When I went back for my alignment I confronted the owner and he stated I had trust issues. I PAID A LOT OF MONEY FOR THIS and have worked on cars a long while of my life and know what I'm talking about. He denied me access to entering the garage to show me proof at first but eventually showed me and I pointed the tie rods out and he then fixed it properly for me. I just would have hoped they'd hear me out to begin with rather than me having to keep complaining until I was heard. I feel the owner of the shop is a compulsive liar. Check your car before you pay.

Pulled in at 405, walked towards the door and the kid that works there flipped the sign over and closed the door on me. Don’t waste your time stopping here.

Very unprofessional. They do not follow through and are misleading when quoting. Poor customer service. I’d advise to look elsewhere for service.

I had a very frustrating experience with this company. They had me tow my car to their shop after quoting a much lower service cost. Once it arrived, they told me they’d get it in the next day. When I followed up, they claimed they needed another tow just to move it into the building and then told me I wasn’t even on the schedule.
I reminded them (with proof from our text chain) that they were the ones who instructed me to tow the car there and confirmed it would be scheduled. Instead of honoring that, they accused me of being rude (even though I had only stated the facts politely) and then flat out refused to service my car. To make matters worse, they still charged me for the tow — even though they never actually worked on the vehicle.
Because of this, I had to pay for multiple tows and wasted time with nothing to show for it. Completely unprofessional, misleading, and costly. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

.... have an appointment to get in to car fixed .. to make an appointment , 1 week out. My appointment was at 730am, it's now 1240pm they have Not even looked at it .. why do u need 8 hours to give an estimate? I have never heard of such a waste of my valuable time. . You only open until 430pm. So you will have my car for 9 hours to give me an estimate and not working on vehicle ? Why did I need an appointment for730am??

I took my car into WJ Kuhn last year after having an oil change at a different location just months prior. Scott was the tech that took a look at my car & sent me a picture of the cap from my oil pan almost completely coming off. I had NO oil left. I was so upset & Scott told me not to worry they would fill my oil up & make sure everything was tightened up. I will NEVER take my car anywhere else. Thank you
