Since moving to Oconomowoc I have been very impressed with our local post office. The people are so friendly and helpful! I dreaded going to my former local post office so much that I often used the one in a neighboring community. I actually get to talk to a person here which is huge for me. We use hold mail a lot and it goes so smoothly. I schedule online so that might be a better way to go vs handing in a form. I typically have the same driver which I love vs having a different one almost every day like my previous. She is super friendly! I also have to add that I had to have help with a service I had never done and the lady helping me had not either. She got help and we all worked through it together. I didn't even realize she forgot to give me a receipt record and it showed up in an envelope in my mailbox the next day!

Have had several issues with this post office over the past couple of years! They keep delivering mail to a house that some of the residents go out of state for 6 months and have a mail forward on file. Most recently it was an important tax document. I also recently had a problem with a package that was delivered to the wrong house even though it was scanned at our address. We have 2 driveways because we live on a corner. The driveway that it was scanned at wasn't even on the road that the address is. Then the package was delivered to the neighbor's house on the correct road even though it was scanned at our address. They ALSO don't even attempt to deliver mail that requires a signature and don't leave a notification that it was attempted (which it wasn't). I had a package of medication that was mailed and there was someone home all day to sign for it and they didn't even attempt the delivery.

Unbelievable. They lost my package and the woman didn’t give me a receipt. A nice gift is now gone. GONE!

Staff unfriendly and unwilling to help at all with a login question. I’ve been at the Oconomowoc post office four times in the last few months and it’s always the same nasty attitude each time no matter what.

I gotta give it to ‘em, I have packages delivered weekly for years and they always end up on time where they need to be! They’ve never lost a single one. Impressive speed even so close to the holidays, all of my packages have arrived on time. Excellent hardworking people

Thankfully someone brought my package to my door. It was laying outside on top of all the mailboxes — AGAIN. This is happening way too often when I have specific directions with delivery to be at the front door. If you don’t deliver and follow delivery instructions, then don’t process the order and agree to deliver it to my front door.
Glucose tablets are frozen. Thankfully it wasn’t the migraine nasal spray or my contacts.
I have to go through the process of making multiple phone calls, sending emails and then being informed to return my damage products and to wait for a new one. What is the point when it is going to sit outside?
This is unacceptable.
The lack of care and respect for items that individuals pay a lot of money for (even on disability) is disheartening.

Filled out a hold mail/vacation request, gave to the clerk. Luckily my neighbor saw my mailbox full and retrieved our mail knowing we were out of town. When I called the Oconomowoc Post office to question what happened, the answer was “nothing here”? Hmmm sorry to bother you! 2nd time this has happened recently. Beware when expecting your mail to be held!

Worst branch. Workers didn’t acknowledge the 8+ customers in line one time. I literally watched the one lady just look at us all w a blank stare doing-nothing at all. Waited 10+ mins then me and others behind me decided to just leave cuz we saw the line was not going anywhere and nobody was being helped. Lazy service.

Tried to pick up a package at the USPS location prior to them closing for the day as it was Friday and I wouldn't be able to for the weekend after that. Tonya, the lady working, bluntly told me she could get it for me but wasn't going to because she didn't want to dig for it and they close soon. Not sure when doing the job you're paid for became optional.
