I went here to pick up an online order due to a mistake at a different Ace store. Robert (I think that was his name) was very helpful, but the woman at the front register was rather unfriendly to me.

We bought a new Weber grill and were very happy with the customer service. Noah was especially helpful and did a fantastic job with the delivery of our new grill and removal of the old one. He was prompt, professional and very courteous.
We highly recommend Dorn Hardware in Oregon.

Incredibly helpful. I needed a few pieces of hardware to repair some leaky outdoor hose bibs. I was shown exactly what I needed and was out of the store within minutes. The repair worked perfectly with the advice and products from this Dorn location.

I came in here to pick up a few items and was treated like a criminal. I made the mistake of asking a lady in there if I could get some assistance from someone in the store to help me get an item off a high shelf. From the moment I approached her, she gave me with the most unfriendly, and unwelcoming stare down. She said nothing and walked away before I even finished asking for assistance so I finished talking to her backside. To her credit though, she actually walked into the aisle where the item was and grabbed it off the shelf for me. I then took that item and all the other items in my basket to the front to check out. She followed me to the front and circled around to stand next to the cashier seemingly to ensure I was going to go there. I got to the counter at the same time that she got next to the cashier, while she menacingly stared me down, and when she realized I was going to pay for all my items, she quickly walked away without saying anything. This was such an unpleasant experience that I will never step foot in here again. At least the young girl at the register was polite and professional so 5/5 for the check out experience.

Great experience with service and price at this store. (A good change from the distant past). I had several people ask if they could help me with painting questions this morning. I got great service and a great buy on a returned quart of paint that met my needs.

Absolutely horrible experience at the Oregon store. Shopped here 3x since moving to Oregon with each time the store was a big miss. Long lines, poor service and lack of interest in helping customers. Just left the store, 8 people in line at the register, 1 cashier while 3 employees huddled around the rental desk laughing and avoiding eye contact or help while the customers just had to wait. Time to wake up here at Dorn in Oregon.

Staff was very helpful and understood my problem. They let me drive my car thru the gate since the aggregate I needed was back there and weighs 60lbs. Their prices are high but I don't mind paying for convenience.

Last night my toilet broke on the handle. I was dreading the fact that I knew it would be way less expensive to fix it myself, but calling out a plumber is like basically $80 no matter if they do anything or not. So.. off to Dorn's.I went in and Kevin helped me figure out what I needed, took the time to not only show me what caused the problem in the first place, but each step in fixing it and preventing the problem in the future. He showed me what tools, how to use the tools properly for the job, and reminded me multiple times about the quirk that the handle nut screws the opposite direction as normal.Came home still dreading it, but pretty confident it was worth $80 to try. I fixed it in less than 5 minutes with ease and I feel great about me, Kevin, the toilet, and the fact that Dorn went way outta the way to help a woman who is NOT handy.Thanks Kevin. Thanks Dorn.
