I am unfortunately disheartened by my recent experience at Hound Huddle...My 1-year-old husky/shepherd mix, who quickly adapted and loved attending doggy daycare, was asked to leave because she learned to open their gates. The staff acknowledged this has happened with other dogs, making it even more frustrating. It feels incredibly unfair that my intelligent and non-aggressive dog is being penalized. She has never shown aggression towards other dogs, and it's sad that she now can't return to a place she enjoyed. I wish Hound Huddle would address the gates, find a resolution, and ensure that intelligent dogs like mine are not unjustly excluded from a daycare.Lastly, I want to recognize that my dog is not the sole escape artist or curious canine. Many breeds share these traits, and I think all doggy daycares should accommodate the diversity of dogs they serve, preventing unnecessary exclusions based on natural behaviors.

Great place. I'm picky about where I'd take my dog and love Huddle Hound. He has a blast and comes home exhausted. Tired dog is a good dog.

We use this daycare every week, and our dog always has a blast. It's obvious the employees care about taking care of the dogs, and while it may not have all the frills of a larger facility, it's our dog's favorite place to spend the day.

I went to the groomer who has her business, It's a "Ruff" Life, here. Amber Phillips is a great groomer.

I scheduled an appt. to use their dog self service wash. I was there on time but nobody to check me in. I tried to get their attention through the play yard window but both attendants were focused on their phones. The groomer alerted them and one came in, no mask although Dane county has a required mask mandate. She indicated that her boss didn't require masking when greeting a customer. She was nice, but seemed unconcerned.

Hound Huddle has been fantastic since day one. My dog Nova loves and adores the staff and the other dogs and is always super excited to go. She plays all day and it helps to keep her puppy/adolescent energy more tempered at home!

Andrea the manager is the best my dog Bow loves the day care so much ( she tells me ) haha, she sleeps right away after the long day. The hours are so great for us working parents. I can’t tell you enough how many times they have saved my butt. Also the pictures they post on Facebook are wonderful. Love seeing the holiday dress up pictures as well!

Fantastic doggy daycare. They take such good care of the pups in their care and my dog loves going. The process to get approved was very easy and quick. I love that they take such great care to make sure the dogs joining their daycare are well-behaved. I don't have to worry about my dog's safety when I leave her in their care for the day.

We took our 11 month old large breed dog there briefly. They started out saying she was really sweet and great, then after the 3rd time there they said she was no longer a good fit due to an interaction with a smaller dog they had included in her play group. Our dog has been in daycare since she was a small puppy and we have always made a point to make sure she is extremely socialized with all kinds and sizes of dogs and people - mostly due to people's misconception about her breed. She has never had an issue in previous daycares. This daycare only separates dogs by play style and not size. Beware if you plan on taking your large breed dog there cause they will likely make it seem like your dog is the issue vs them not knowing how to appropriately group dogs for playing and monitor them. Would not recommend this place!

We highly recommend Hound Huddle! The staff members are caring and experienced, and the location is super convenient. Lucy loves playing with her dog friends, and we love how tuckered out she is afterward!

Our pup loves Hound Huddle! The staff did a great job evaluating Lucy before introducing her to the group. Now she's super excited to see her human and dog friends at drop off and tuckered out at pick up! The staff is kind and knowledgeable, and the location is very convenient. We highly recommend HH!

Was strongly discouraged from bringing my dog to the Hound Huddle in Oregon due to the breed. They went as far as recommending another dog day care center. Very disappointed.
