Watch what you’re paying for. They have an advertised sale on Christmas decorations, candles and gift wrapping and bags. Candles claim to be buy one get one free, gift bags are buy 2 get one free. Spent forever picking out the things I needed, waited in the long line with one poor worker there all by herself, get up to the checkout and I was only given the sale price on some of the things they claim were on sale and I said something and she tried to make it right but could only do so much and the line behind me was long and everyone looked annoyed. I made sure to get my receipt and I will be making sure Corp makes this right. It’s not bad enough you over work and under pay your staff (if they can even find staff half the time) but now they’ve added screwing over the customers to that list. I just came across a bunch of articles about dollar general having a serious problem with this. Maybe stop building stores constantly that you can’t even keep workers at and think about getting your crap together? You love to come to small towns, over charge and I guess you aren’t business savvy enough to realize word gets around small town faster than you can screw your customers over. Shame on dollar general. Greedy corporations have no soul

Came to dollar general because online it says they’re open… 6pm on a Friday they have posted signs that they are closed and I heard from someone that lives here that they will just up and close randomly, random times on different days of the week?!?? Kind of inconvenient when a small town probably relies on stores like these and they are inconsistently open…. At least make your times online reflect the actual times that you are open/closed for the people that live here.

I miss the old staff, those ladies were way more friendly then the new staff. Having cleaning stuff in same aisle as children toys, I don't think is right. And what's up with the self checks? They are freaking taking over, decreasing job opportunities and just make workers lazy. Will never be going back here.

Isles are always cluttered and almost impassable extremely rude staff that insinuates that you are shoplifting just not a good store all around after my experience today I will probably never return

I don’t even want to give this dollar store one star! Over the last year this particular dollar store has really really gone downhill, I don’t know if it’s management or watt but they are never open during their times they’re supposed to be open, once again tonight October 12th 8 o’clock their sign says they are open till 9 PM and guess what they are not open, no sign up giving us an explanation nothing! Very very frustrating. And it’s not just me all of the people in town complain about the dollar store all the time because they are never open! I don’t think it’s due to lack of staff because there was twoCars in the parking lot with two people in the building ignoring the customers trying to get in. At least put a sign up and give people an explanation or answer the phone when people call! I do not see this business lasting long at this rate and in all honesty I would rather see them shut down and the different dollar store by the building it open up and run business like it should be ran! If I was the GM of this location heads would be rolling!! So a word to the wise anybody going to the dollar store you better call in advance it’s about a 90% chance that they will not be open
