Went to the Oshkosh store to buy a putter, and both customer service reps Daniel and Daniel provided exceptional customer service. They were both very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Felt Very unwelcoming! First time in a Dick's store and probably won't go back. Went here with my son to get him some shoes, we were avoided the moment we walked in, nobody greeted or helped us enough though the store was pretty empty. The associate in golf needs to be handled, I tried speaking to him for assistance and he just completely ignored me,like looked me in my face and kept walking. The only decent employee I encountered was Daniel, asked how we were doing and checked us out. I know a lot is going on in the country right now but the vibes some of those employees give are down right bias. As a Black Man I expect to be treated the same as any money spending customer but with people like that it's what's wrong with the world,now...

This is a long story so if you donāt make it to the end. Just DO NOT SHOP AT DICKS SPORTING GOODS. Potential credit card theft from their employees in this customer service experience and more!!
Full story: If I could give negative stars I would. Their customer service is the worst I think I have ever experienced. I tried getting a $20 off coupon from signing up for text messages on their website. After signing up I got their texts but no coupon and the links didn't work in the texts either. So I went to their chat function on their website for help. Big mistake. The WORST experience. Fist guy said just wait longer the code will come in the text. I waited 30 minutes no code. I said just give me the code and Iāll check out myself. They told me they canāt give me the code even though I should have gotten one from signing up for texts. So I ask for a supervisor. They say they canāt give it to me either but they can check me out on the chat and manually apply it. So they give me a secure checkout thing from dicks sporting goods website. I put in my credit card twice and each time they say that didnāt work. Then they say letās try one more time if not Iāll give you the code and you can just checkout yourself. WHICH I ASKED FOR SINCE THE START AND THEY SAID THEY COULDNT DO. Also by this time it has been an hour and a half of trying to get this promotion they advertise. So I say fine and try a different credit card and right when they got that credit card submitted they disconnect from the chat. So now Iām like great a dicks sporting goods employee or overseas customer service employee possibly STOLE MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. Luckily I can freeze them on my phone which I did immediately. They connect me to another person and Iām pissed at this point and ask for a supervisor. They say they canāt give me a supervisor on the chat even though I was allegedly talking to one that made off with my information. So they give me their customer service number and they can get me a supervisor. I call and ask for a supervisor since itās been 2 HOURS NOW. They say they can help me and I donāt need a supervisor. I keep asking for a supervisor and then theyJUST HANG UP ON ME! So I call back and get a normal person who connects me to a supervisor finally. I get to the checkout process with them on the phone and then they disconnect!!!! They eventually call back and at this point I feel like Iām entitled to some compensation or additional money off of my purchase considering it has taken 2 and a half hours to place an order with a promotion that should have taken 15 minutes. Not to mention one of their employees may have stolen my credit cards. And I was hung up on twice. They say all they can do is give me ācustomer pointsā. WHAT. A. JOKE. I REPEAT DO NOT SHOP AT DICKS SPORTING GOODS

Why say you price match if you donāt?
Found a pair of shoes on Amazon for 20$ less but wanted to give them a shot. They approved the price match. I recommend them to a friend and he went in and used the same Amazon listing and they said they could not do it. Bad business and made me look bad in front of a friend.

I was at the Oshkosh store today and I did have several employees ask if I need help which was great. When I was looking for a pair of shoes the female employee that was to be helping me started talking with a friend and this continued for more than 5 minutes. I finally told her not to bother I will go else where to purchase my items.

I want to shout out to the spectacular cust service from Sheryl at the Oshkosh store..She got a call from me about something I was looking for. I did not want to order it on line She was kind, courteous and went extra mile to find item.. confirm it in stock .and additionally..put it aside for me ..Thats the kind of customer care people could take a lesson from..Not everyone wants to shop on line..I do not because of theft issues in my area. also .I should mention..everyone working there on 11-23-22 in the afternoon we're kind, friendly..polite and courteous..Sophie was also and awesome addition..Keep it up You all rock .

I went in to find a snorkeling mask. Asked the gentleman greeter where they were. He told me and let me know there was a manager in the area that could help. By the time I walked back to the area she asked if I was there for snorkeling masks. Told her yes and she took me to them. Another employee came over with another style they had in back. This was one of the best experiences in a store!! Way to go!
