My transmission failed in April and the bergstrom ford dealership in Neenah quoted me around 6,000 to get it replaced. Got my escape towed to fox valley transmission and they quoted me around 4,400, which I greatly appreciated. They’re honest with what needs to get done, and the prices are fair.I also want to add that my car has been having some… weird symptoms. I got in touch with them and they got me in within a couple of days to get my car looked at, free of charge. I am appreciative that they were honest with the fact that if it’s not something they touched, they would have to refer me elsewhere - I am just happy they were able to get me in fast to get it looked at.Plus, they have the cutest helper!

Definitely would not recommend. Brought my vehicle in to get the transmission rebuilt and it went out again within a year. Luckily it was under warranty so they fixed it again only to have it go out again after another year. PS they told me I would have to pay to get another warranty.

Finally after 10 months- Fox Valley got my 2016 Pathfinder fixed. Lauren's thieved roughly 11k... took the insurance check, my deductible- never did the work. They still have my 2 key fobs. Refuse to give them back. They did not even purchase a transmission until July..My loss date was Dec 2022. Allstate did not help much..They were fine that i was without a car winter, spring, summer and into fall. Allstate was 100% fine with allowing a scrap transmission to be put in my car by Lauren's. Thank Goodness for the honest people at Fox Valley.... otherwise I would still be walking. #BBB #LAURENS #OSHKOSH #FOXCITIES #TRANSMISSION #THANKFUL

Horrible customer service. Brought a car in to have the transmission rebuilt. Brought it back because it was leaking fluid. They supposedly test drove it. By the time we got the car back the second time it wouldn’t shift or move. Had to have it towed back to their shop. Jim argued with us that it was our fault the car wasn’t working before anyone even looked at it. They ate the tow bill after they admitted parts we paid to have replaced we’re not. Then they wouldn’t compensate us for all the back and forth and our unhappy customer. Our business will never use them again and neither will anyone we know

I want to be very clear that the work that this business performed was very good. My car runs fantastic and they fixed the issue I asked them to and more. Before I give my critique, please know I encourage you to use this local family owned business! When you do, make sure you get a quote signed in writing. Jim casually told me my repair would be $103... when he called to let me know it was done he mentioned there was another repair being done on it and it should only be another $200. Still something I am okay with, although I wish he would have called and let me tell them yes, please go ahead and fix it versus him saying they are in the process of doing that repair. When I picked up my car, it was $900 for the bill. Yes, the quotes he told me were only for parts. I have never been to a place where they only tell you the cost for parts, so I assumed what he told me was everything. This business is lucky that my wife and I were in a position to pay this surprise bill, but even if I was bill gates, I wouldn't want someone telling me one thing and then charging me way more. So, when you use them, get a quote signed in writing and make sure what they are telling you is for the price of parts and labor. As I said above, they did the work well and my car runs smoothly again, so thank you for that.Update 4/9/21: The day after I picked my car up from here, Jim the owner called and apologized for the screw up. He felt bad and asked for my address so he could give me some money back as a way to make up for the miscommunication. Check has been received and am very grateful. Very good job on making it right! I will be taking my car back here, with some lessons learned. Thank you Jim and Fox Valley Transmission!Services: Transmission

Dropped my car off to get the transmission sensor looked at as a code popped up saying that was the issue. Jim the mechanic there called me and said the code wasn’t there and he couldn’t do anything, but in a rather rude tone. I asked him why didn’t he say it needed the code before I brought it in and he said “didn’t think it was cleared”. My question is that it’s such a big deal why didn’t you stress that? Also, I get the code wasn’t on whatever. I try to ask where and when to pick up my car keys and Jim hangs up on me not once, but twice. Extremely unprofessional.
